Q: What dies it say seats 5 if the weight limit is 240 lbs? How could 2 adults sit on one side?
A: Hi Sam - the 240 pounds is for the bench. The corner unit has a total weight limit of 600 pounds, which would allow 3 - 4 adults to fit.

Q: Are the benches interchangeable?
A: Erica, Thank you for your interest in the Colby Backless Nook. The benches are not interchangeable. If you were to put the right side bench with the drawer on the left, the drawer would be on the inside facing the other bench and not be able to open.
