Q: What are the dimensions of the liner? I want this for grocery shopping, is it deep enough to carry grocery bags without the bag folding over?

submitted by Elaine - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi Elaine - Great question! The Collapsible Wagon Dimensions (Overall): 21.5 Inches (H) x 18.6 Inches (W) x 35.5 Inches (D). Thanks for stopping by! - Shakita

  • A: Given that the Target "support" didn't understand your q?, I'm going to try to help. Keep in mind that I don't yet own this -- I'm just using common sense, based on the stated dimensions and the pics. ............ The wagon is 21.5" H, and the pics indicate that the liner is about 60% of that height -- so about 12-13". In addition, the wagon is 35.5" D -- they must be referring to the length of the wheelbase -- and if you eyeball the height of the liner and compare it to the length of the wheelbase, it looks as tho the wheelbase (from tip to tip) is about 3x as long as the liner is high (I used a pencil to estimate this). So that also supports my estimate that the liner about 12" tall. ****Reminder: I do not own this**** -- I'm just using my eyes and my common sense. ................ I don't understand what you mean by "the bag folding over" -- if your grocery bags are paper or semi-stiff re-usables (pls do NOT use plastic bags), then they'll stand upright.

  • A: Yes. If you stack 2 cases of water that has 16.9 oz per bottle, about 3/4 of the top case sticks out the top but it’s not gonna slide off the cart. If you sit a bottle of cranberry juice in it, it doesn’t show. I use it for groceries all the time

Q: I live on a 3rd floor with no elevator. I'm no spring chicken. Is this wagon heavy?

submitted by Jenny - 6 months ago
  • A: It isn't that it is really heavy but once filled with groceries I struggled to even get it over the 4 inch threshold into my house. I definitely wouldn't try it on stairs.

  • A: For you, I’ve seen used most commonly, a “granny cart.” If you can give it bigger “all terrain” 😹 wheels. The center of gravity works in your favor Or, I lived half of my life in buildings built approx 1900-1920, is the staircase open enough that you can you fashion a box lift via pulley?

submitted byElizabeth - 2 months ago
  • A: Hello Jenny - Thank you for your Question! it features a lightweight construction with wheels and a built-in pull handle for easy transport. I hope it helps - Juliette.

Q: Do the wheels lock so that it doesn’t roll away when stationary?

submitted by E north - 1 year ago
  • A: I own this wagon and love it, but it doesn’t have a wheel lock mechanism sadly

submitted byshan - 11 months ago
  • A: No. I just move it so the front wheels turn against a hill

  • A: Hi, Thanks for asking about this great space saver. The collapsible design folds open and closed for easy, convenient use and storage. When folded, this perfect push wagon can stand on its own. That way you can quickly embark on your adventures at home and away. This wagon is not recommend for carrying children. I hope this information helps. - Lima

Q: Can you use this to help carry groceries upstairs?

submitted by Emily C - 7 months ago
  • A: It's not designed for this and it also doesn't have all-terrain wheels. You could try but it would be hard/awkward + you wouldn't be able to put too much to avoid things falling out. It would be similar to taking a suitcase with wheels upstairs.

Q: Anyone have instructions for folding and collapsing handle?

submitted by Fran - 1 year ago
  • A: The handle doesn’t collapse… it just slides down if u let it out because you’re tall. That’s the only part I don’t like, but it doesn’t really get in the way of

Q: How do you get the wagon back together after taking the fabric out. It was pretty simple to take off but when I try to put it back on the bars done line up and stay together with the top piece.

submitted by Kmiddle11 - 2 years ago
  • A: Hello Kmiddle 11 - Great Question! Thank you for your interest in this amazing Collapsible Wagon! The inner fabric bottom is designed to wrap around the closed wagon to hold it together. It’s possible the guest needs to rotate the top 90 degrees since the side panels are longer than the front and back panels. Hope this information helps! - Emma.

  • A: When it’s folded up, let it out a lil bit and line it up, then push the wagon down in the middle

  • A: It's a bit of struggle for me to fold it up to get the bottom liner to wrap around once folded -- I have to push it in to fit nearly in wrap -- I'm hoping that fabric will relax a bit to make it less of an effect over time

submitted byrosemarigold - 3 months ago

Q: Can you push this wagon instead of pulling it and I am thinking about it for bringing in groceries and I do not walk well so I do not think pulling is a good idea. Can you push it with out damage?

submitted by Debbie - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello Debbie - Thank you for reaching out with your question on the Collapsible Wagon. You can push it without damage, but it would be awkward to maneuver since the wheels swivel. I hope it will work for you. - Carmen

submitted byCarmen - 3 years ago
    Target staff support
  • A: Yes you can push it out damage but pulling it is easier… I pull with my wrist facing up and it’s less strain… if you push it, you use more force and it’s a little difficult to maneuver and you put more stress on the pull handle
