Our first preference was for a recliner. This chair does not recline as described, but it does rock. You will need a drill to assemble. The holes aren t nearly aligned enough to join the back. We enjoy the chair overall. Although it s comfortable, the material is obviously subpar. However, considering the cost, the chair is decent.

After loosening up all the screws on the bottom of the chair that are screwed into the black metal hardware, you can bend the metal legs to match the holes if you notice that when you put the gliders on, the holes don t line up. Once the gliders are attached, tighten the remaining screws. To make sure you can bend the metal to fit the glider holes, the instructions advise only 50% tightening at first. Just make sure you follow the directions carefully; they aren t drilled incorrectly.
