Waste of Time

Only worked once, and even then the bracelet was very loose. After that, my 9 year old and I never could get it to clasp. Beads kept flying everywhere. The instructions are only pictures and not very clear. The whole contraption is very cheap.

If your bracelet does not clasp together, ensure after stringing the beads that there is still 4 inches (10 cm) of slack at the end of the elastic hooked to the pink clasp. Re-adjust if necessary, as the weight of the beads may pull on the slack. Please also ensure that you are pressing down firmly on the pink button to connect the clasps together. We hope this helps! Don't waste your money

Lots of tears with this toy. Directions don’t have words and following it as closely as we can, we can’t get it to work each time. My daughter likes following the patterns and spends a lot of time loading the pen only to have it all fall apart at the end. So frustrating.

Fun for a Day

Fun when it works but it's a bit time consuming to gather the tiny beads. For kiddos with a very short attention span (or under 7yrs,) this might not be age appropriate. The clasp on ours wouldn't 'catch' the string until the 4th or 5th try, which was a bit frustrating. My 7yr old didn't have patience to make fun patterns but liked this the first few times... then she was done. The bracelets made are not worn and have been forgotten. Buy a traditional bracelet making kit. it's less aggravating, the beads are a bit larger, and you can control the design much more easily.

Great but ZERO refills ever available

My daughter loves this little maker and figured it out quickly. Unfortunately, the refill packs are IMPOSSIBLE to find so it made 15 bracelets and now what? It does not work with other types of clay heishi beads we've tried. Don't waste your money unless they start making more refills.

No way to buy clasps

While the machine itself is easy to operate and trouble shoot, the expansion pack is terrible. I bought this for my 5 year old with the intention I would just get more clasps down the road if she liked it. Well now she loves this, and of course you cant buy just the clasps separately. if I had a 3d printer I would just make them myself and sell them that way.
