Q: How are the beads reloaded? One by one into the tube by hand?

  • A: Thank you for contacting Make It Real. The bottom of the base on the unit doubles as a funnel. You line the funnel up with the chamber that you wish to refill and pour the beads into the funnel. You then use the alignment tool to ensure the beads are set correctly in the chamber.

  • A: Hello and thank you for contacting Make It Real. We cannot guarantee compatibility with the Swift Clicks Bracelet Maker if you use beads manufactured elsewhere. We do offer Heishi Bead refill kits that are compatible. On the front of the package, it will specifically state "Swift Clicks Compatible". Please be sure to look for that seal as we have different Heishi Bead kits and not all are manufactured to be compatible. Using non-compatible beads may cause the bracelet maker to jam.

Regarding the Heishi Bead Bracelet Maker, that only works with our heishi beads that are marked as "swift clicks compatible". The bracelet maker will not work with other types of beads.

This is my second one of these and it’s just junk. My needle for the beads and the beads get stuck. It’s impossible for us to finish one bracelet. Such a bummer it seemed like such a neat toy/activity.!

My son was very excited for this bracelet maker. It was the top of his Christmas list. When we opened it, we made 2 bracelets. After that, nothing worked. The bead pen won’t attach to the string as needed and multiple bracelets snapped when trying to connect the sides (leading to lots of frustration and tears from my 7yo).
