Bought this for my kids to make a few things as Mother’s Day gifts not super satisfied the lengths of things were really weird and off the bracelets to small or large and if you used them instead as a necklace as suggested an alternative they would be very tight. Also was disappointed with the amount of beads.

Innacurate cord length
The cords in this kit was too long for making a bracelet & the closure design made it impossible to double it to fit. Also, cords are not long enough to make a necklace instead,even for a child age 9. In addition, even though the box was sealed with tape on the opening lid, the kit was missing the gold metallic necklace that was described as included. Only 2 cords were inside. The beads for stringing are pretty but cannot use any of the 2 “bracelet” making cords included in this kit .

Worth 2/3 of the price
This was a nice kit with one glaring exception. It contains three chains for bracelets and 8 charms for each. In the kit we got, the chain for the 3rd bracelet did not have a clasp, rendering it unusable. We checked the box carefully and no clasp. We split the charms between two chains but that wasn't ideal. So, we either had two bracelets that were too heavy or we didn't use 1/3 of the charms.

You are able to recreate the jewelry pieces
My daughter loves making things. Admittedly she is almost 6 and the box says 8+… but I found this kit MUCH easier for her to do than any where you put the beads on string. It is also nice that you can recreate the jewelry piece if you want to make a change to it. We have purchased this for some of her friends who recently turned 7.
