There are A LOT of spirit barrel aged wines out there. Most use the those barrels to add a nuance. Cooper and Thief I feel doesn't flirt with the barrels but goes all in and really develops something special. This is not a 'hint' of brandy barrel aging but more an in your face aging that really creates something special.
