Cheap for the price

While the frames packed well for shipping, I felt like they were cheap feeling. They were very light weight and used plexiglass rather than glass. The backing was thin board and used push pins to hold the backing in. The hanging hardware was included, but had to be installed. For the price, I expected more. Items were returned.

The specification said it was glass. But it’s plexiglass. The backing is made from cardboard. Wrong. Will return it to a Target store nearby.

Who measured this frame?

Solid construction of a frame that was supposed to be 12 x 16, but is actually 13 3/8 x 17 1/8th from end to end. The interior measurements are not 12 x16 either. I can make due, but I will need to purchase a matt separately, probably by going somewhere to have one cut, as the frame size is so off. Seriously? I didn't want a matt, as I don't want to take away from the picture. Too bad Target is 20 minutes away, as this is annoying.
