Cricut 9' Smart Iron-On Vinyl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the smart iron-on vinyl from Cricut. I’ve been an avid user of Cricut machines since they came out with the Cricut Expressions machine. I hesitated to purchase the Smart Vinyl because I wasn’t 100% sold that it would be that much better compared to regular iron-on on mat. I have found that I truly enjoy just loading the vinyl and going. I don’t have to worry about the vinyl not sticking to the mat and messing up the cut. I also appreciate that I am able to cut much larger images because I’m not limited to a mat. I wanted to create a patch to iron-on to my laptop bag. I ultimately need to pick something with a little less detail, for as small as I want this to be. I have used other smart iron-on for projects too. Most recently with for a patch for family vacation shirts. I used white iron-on on a white shirt, and then we tie-dyed our shirts red, white, and blue. They turned out great and the smart iron-on made it so easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this iron on, I liked that I didn’t need to use a mat to cut with it, as sometimes those tend to lose their stick this was a massive perk for me. I liked the amount that came in the roll. It was enough to do plenty of projects with and I will be using it for quite a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cricut really doesn’t make made products. This is forever a classic and it’s always holds strong. Just turn any clothing inside out before you wash it.

It’s alright. It weeds well but I found that it doesn’t have the most clear finish once you rip off the backing .. you can see some small stretch lines in it.

This is my favorite vinyl. It always cuts well & weeds easily.

Used this for a project that grew larger than anticipated. It was for a great cause, though, so Imwas thankful for the good quality, easy to cut,weed, and apply.

Old product, took an absurd amount of time to get it to stick on

I really like the idea of not having to use the mat but the plastic material is thicker and I feel it might be worse for the environment. Wish we could recycle the plastic with or without the mat. I always feel guilty throwing all that plastic into the trash. Cricut, if you could find a way to be a little more environmentally friendly with your viynl, that would be the cherry on the top 🍒😊

I have a Maker and after reading on a few well-respected crafting websites that I could use this product without a mat on this machine, I tried it. It worked great! I love this product. It weeded so easily and the designs look good on t-shirts. I don't think I'll ever buy the "regular" HTV again!
