Popcorn burms and takes forever to pop

I'm not sure if we received a defective product or what, but every time we use the popcorn maker, it takes so long for the kernels to pop that the kernels burn. A few kernels pop every minute or so, such that by the time even half of the kernels have popped, the kernels that popped first are burned. We either have to end up with burned popcorn or can only make very small amounts at a time. This is a "cute" and fun item in theory, but it's pretty terrible in practice and is also hard to clean in addition to lacking in function.

I’m sure sure what to think of it. In theory it seems likes a good idea but it just doesn’t taste a saturated as microwaved popcorn. I tried the seasonings you can buy from the store and ehh. I’m gonna give it a few more tries.

Popcorn maker

This is a very high quality stir crazy popcorn maker.. it is very sturdy and durable. Lid is thick and has extra snap off cover which measures your popcorn out for you as well. Love the color. Very pleased with the overall appearance and quality of the entire product

Love this thing!

We live in an RV and need our appliances to pack up neatly and have a real purpose to warrant taking up valuable space and I can confirm this bad boy is worth it. You really do need to use oil with the kernels to prevent burning and I don't prefer using the bowl as a serving bowl because I find that any melted butter finds its way to the bottom of the bowl and then through the steam holes into the measuring top/ bowl bottom where I would rather have that collect in a smooth bottom to be able to swipe popcorn through when I get to that point in the eating experience :) Those are my only two gripes, otherwise I adore the way the popcorn maker pops my kernels and the way it breaks down into itself when stored.
