A: Once the footrest is up it will no longer rock but it will still spin from side to side. It does not recline without putting up the footrest.

Ruined my carpet!
First of all, the color isn’t very creamy. It’s a little more grey which isn’t the end of the world. My real disappointment is that this chair has ruined brand new carpets! We replaced the carpets in our home before baby’s arrival. Thus was purchased off our registry and we put it in the nursery. Since it’s very heavy, we never moved it until now (approx 2 years later). To our surprise, our carpet is ruined with black paint that transferred off the glider!! Now I have to try to sell my home with black marks all over the otherwise new carpets.

My daughter has this in her nursery and I loved it so bought one for my house. Such a perfect size for shorter people. My husband is 5'9" and his head is above the rocker just a bit but he loves how comfortable it is too. I'm a little over 5' and it's perfect! Very comfortable and recliner is smooth. So cute & comfy!
After trying two other nursery chairs, I ordered this one in a final attempt and I am not disappointed! It’s so chic and soft and beautiful. I ordered it in cream and I will say, it looks way more grey than cream but I still love it! It’s very neutral and it matches my nursery perfectly. It reclines super easily and smoothly and it’s not difficult to get out of. The head and neck support is on point too! (I’m 5’9”) It’s a very roomy chair where I feel like I can have my toddler sit in it with me someday and read. I’ve been chillin’ in this chair ever since it arrived today! :) it’s THAT comfortable. Last but not least, I really appreciate the lumbar support pillow and the fact that it’s OEKO-TEX certified. That makes me feel at ease knowing it’s not toxic. That was a huge selling point for me! Tall moms look no further
I absolutely adore this chair! It’s a beautiful piece of furniture that is comfortable and functional! I’m 6 feet tall and I feel this chair gives me great support sitting or reclining, it is wide enough to be comfortable but not too big or bulky. Only tricky thing is it can take a bit of abdominal strength to get the footrest back down and right after birth I had none, but I imagine this problem isn’t exclusive to this recliner. Overall, amazing purchase!

Over 2 years of use BUT
Ive had this for 2.5 years. After about 2 months it started squeaking as it rocks. Luckily it doesn't bother my children but provides a constant anxiety that it is going to keep them up. Also, if my partner is using the chair in the next room it does keep me up. The fabric has held up well and so has the chair. I did use Scotch Guard on the fabric and have cleaned it once with a small carpet cleaning machine.

Squeeky chair
My daughter has this chair in her nursery. It is great except fabric pills up. I liked it so much that I bought one. It started squeaking when anyone rocked in it. Have tried to fix it but can’t. It started squeaking within two weeks. My daughter has had hers for six months, no squeaking. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Not suitable for new moms with stitches and for petite heights
This chair should not be classified under nursery furniture and it should not be recommended for new moms. I am 5.5 ft and my feet do not touch the ground if I try to sit in an upright position. You have to engage your core muscles to get up from it which can be really difficult during the postnatal period. It does feel comfortable when you are in a full recliner position however it can be difficult to get up if you are holding the baby. It also tips over too much like mentioned in other reviews. I want to return it but it has been too much hassle to pull it from 2 stairs to my bedroom, I guess I am stuck with it. It is easy to set up.

I placed an order for this glider 2 times and it never came. After the first order placed they told me it must of been a technical issue so they returned my money and they guaranteed that if I ordered it again it certainly wouldn’t happen again and it did.
