Supplement heat for a 320 sq ft family room to replace a defective gas insert. We decided that gas was not an option because of the cost.

We built a faux fireplace in our primary bedroom and this worked perfectly!

Built fireplace and mantle to fit this box. Extremely easy install and operation. Remote works perfectly. People have commented thinking this was the best electric (for the price) for its realism. Definitely would buy again.

Product got my old fireplace serviceable for a small fraction of masonry repair or gas insert quotes.

Bought this fireplace insert about 10 years ago. Works great as a supplemental heat source but always looks great. We usually just leave the flame on and shut the heat off.

Completely happy with the product, ordering, delivery time, condition of product received - however the one and only issue/problem I have is the brightness of the simulated flames. I previously requested if/can I upside the LED lamp size to achieve and correct this problem. If so, I am willing to purchase that lamp recommendation and install it. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you

I bought a month ago. It is beautiful. Great for TV stand and giving warm feeling and heat to the room.

Because it is 107 the last and the next 7 days we have and will not be using it in the near future. However our testing gives us confidence that we will enjoy our new Dimplex in the fall and for years down the road.

This is a quality unit.All is as described by the manufacturer.

This is an insert for my wood burning fireplace. Wanted for atmosphere with just the led flame but the heat is a bonus

I studied fireplace inserts before I bought this one. I even went to a fireplace store in town. They didn't sell electric fireplace inserts, but recommended this one to me. I am putting it in a beautiful antique mantel, in a new build. I did unpack the insert and try it out. I am so excited about this choice. It has a realistic flame, is really nice quality and produces great heat! I couldn't be happier!!

This fireplace looks great in our family room. We wanted to replace our wood burning fireplace with a cleaner, easier unit. Now that we have it we use it every day. The Dimplex was a little more money but glad that I went that way as the fire is very realistic. I looked at so many but was restricted to size and height. The only thing I didn't realize was I thought it came with the different colors but this particular model does not. I especially like the mirror behind which reflects the flames. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.

we added this unit to a built in wall unit / entertainment center. the logs and flame looked awesome and realistic. Customer very happy.

We replaced a wood burning fireplace with this electric version. The heating portion of a fireplace was not an issue as it rarely gets below 60 degrees here in Florida. So, the fact that we can turn on this fireplace 365 days a year was a major deciding factor. This fireplace was easy to install and has the aesthetic beauty of a wood burning fireplace without the hassle of bringing home the wood to burn then cleaning it up afterwards. ""Electric Fireplaces Direct"" was easy to work with and delivery was quick. The unit came in as described and without any damage. It was one of the only items in our home renovation that went without a hitch. If I had one complaint it would be that the mirrored back of the fireplace reflects images in front of it when the room is brightly lit. When the room is darkened there is little or no reflection.

I have owned electric inserts in the past. Nothing compares to this Dimplex unit. it is absolutely beautiful. the flames and embers are so realistic. The quality is unsurpassed. The only drawback is the unit does not provide much heat. I did not purchase it for the heat, I bought this unit for the ambience and i got everything i expected and then some. LOVE IT.

It's a beautiful fireplace. I did a remodel of my existing fireplace and used this one in it's place. I couldn't be happier with the result. I have gotten nothing but positive reviews for my work, and it has made all the difference in my living room. Also I would like to thank the staff for helping choose the right unit for my application.
