Description

Book Synopsis

The Dirty Deeds crew takes a wrong turn through the Smuggler's Ring and ends up on the Red Sun Federation's most wanted list. Space opera from Rippaverse writer Carrow Brown. Same-day companion to the Jailbreak novel.

Beatles is at the controls. Rin'lyn is shouting. Rakarr--the navigator--is the only one on the crew who can commune with the Ring. The rest of the crew (Arad, Sulia, Felsiar, Spingy) is in the cargo bay just trying to survive. When the sentient ship takes control of her own course and punches through into extra-reality, the crew lives--but Admiral Bre'dora has already put their face on a fleet-wide bulletin. And the universe just got a lot bigger.

A space-opera comic that expands the Rippaverse beyond Florespark and Earth altogether. Same-day pairing with Dirty Deeds: Jailbreak novel (9/22/26)--same universe, same Spearhead-class ship at the heart of both. The novel is the ship's origin; the comic is what she does next. Dirty Deeds launched in December 2025; Dirty Deeds #2 is the second issue of the ongoing series--and every wrong turn has consequences. This one has a fleet.

From Rippaverse writer Carrow Brown (Smuggler's Stitch, Norfrica co-writer, Yaira: Frost & Ruin co-writer, Jailbreak novel) with interior art by Evan Scale. Colors by Candice Han.
