A: Hello Nan, This is Pam from the Georgia-Pacific Consumer Response Center. Our cups and plates are recyclable. Products can be recycled if and only if the consumer has access to an established recycling program that accepts food-contaminated paper and plastic waste. Very sturdy

Double plate if to be safe, but not bad
They are a little thin, but they are adorable. Just beware that if you get them wet or if you had damp food in it, it might work out quickly. I will double plate it.
