Q: ARE THESE DIXIE ULTRA PLATES ADEQUATE IN THE MICROWAVE? MANY OF THE DIXIE PLATES I HAVE TRIED DO NOT LAST IN THE MICRO, THEY BURN, SMELL AND DISCOLOR. THANKS

Great plates

If it's something heavy I like to double plate them to be safe but overall they hold up pretty well, and are perfect for a small snack. Made out of great material, microwavable, and soak proof. And also cut resistant in case you are cutting something on them. Love it!!

I usually rather the bigger plates for meals but these smaller plates are good for snacks. For the price you can't beat these. The cheap plates fold over & grease gets through them, or juices from the food.

Great everyday paper plate

If you are looking for a large dinner plate, you may need to size up however I thought they were perfect and help keep my food portions in check! They are also durable without having any soggy spots or having to worry that it is flimsy.

Great plates
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had pasta with meatballs for dinner and I decided to try out these Dixie Ultra Paper Plates. I was hesitant at first because pasta is heavy, and usually paper plates can’t hold the weight. The Dixie plates did! I was able to hold it with one hand without it folding in or falling and that’s big to me! The plates are super heavy duty and do not leak through like other brands. These plates are great for the money and I would recommend buying them.

Load it up and hold with one hand, it’s still stur
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loadedddd up my plate with my heavy lunch and held it with one hand to show the strength of this plate. Not only that but I used a sharp knife to cut my sausage and there were no rips at the bottom of the plate! This is the perfect paper plate to load your food up on! Between the sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes, the plate didn’t even get soggy!! This is a great plate to have for any meal or party!

They are leak proof which is great for the dinners that can make a mess such as sauces. They are stronger then most and do not require doubling up making them very cost effective.

Love Dixie plates!

Dixie plates are strong. I keep them on hand because they can hold all types of food products and not a lot of dirty plates to wash afterwards.
