The 8 1/2 inch plates are NOT that durable. Good for lite sandwhich and chips. I only put a generous slice of pie on one plate and it was not sturdy . Going back to Dixie. Husband also noticed Dixie was stronger.

Pretty design, fairly sturdy - heated food in microwave and then cut it with a fork and the design did not stay on the plate. I eat food dye, but prefer it to be a listed food ingredient and not detritus from my plate. Hopeful that it’s food safe, but who knows.
