Q: can this be used strictly as a bed frame, with no other frame or headboard around it?
A: unfortunately, there are no connectors of any kind to the front of this frame to attach a headboard. but i have it for over a year now and have had no other problems w it.
submitted bywren - 8 years agoA: Yes -- we have a queen and a king and use them both strictly as a platform frame. I'm not sure how one could attach anything else to it, as the previous user responded.
submitted byCourtney M - 8 years agoA: The universal bracket does NOT fit this bed. I bought it because I read this, and it is not designed for it; the beams are too thick. And now I can't return it because of COVID 19. So don't buy it for this frame.
submitted byKaren - 6 years agoA: If you want to add a headboard, the Empire Headboard Foot Board Bracket for 14 and 18 inch Platform Bed Frames is sold separately, and is a universal bracket that is designed to fit this bed.
submitted byEco Dream Expert - 6 years agoA: Karen, I personally apologize and you're correct, the Euro headboard bracket that is designed for this particular bed is currently not listed by Target. The headboard bracket I mention above is actually for our 14" and 18" metal platform frames without the lumbar support instead.
