Thread should be easy to use, but it's not!
The thread spools are useless. Both ends of the thread are tucked under. Spent a couple hours trying to locate the beginning of each thread for my son to have a usable sewing kit in his dorm. I eventually gave up on the thread spools and threw them all away. Other items in the kit are fine, but the thread--the main reason for buying the kit--is useless.

Poor qaulity sewing needlss
First needle I threaded snapped on the first stitch, just trying a knot with the string. You will need to buy some higher quality needles. I don’t recommend using them. The thread is okay quality and scissors work great.

Thread sucks, all else is wonderful
Everything in this kit is wonderful except the thread. The thread is the super cheap stuff and it’s on the bobbin to where both ends are tucked under so you can’t get to them. I will replace the thread and it will be great. Everything else about this kit is amazing. There are plenty of needles and a threader and tape measure so it’s a real miss that the thread sucks. We moved into a tiny home so I got rid of my full sized one and ordered this to slip in a drawer and it does that.

Useless - Poor Quality
It looks like it has everything you need until you realize you can’t get the threads off the spools. They’re so intermingled around each other you can’t get any thread off of them. I tried using other thread but the needle openings are not good. Mine had some metal bumps on the opening making it very difficult to use. I returned this.

I have taken this kit to a wedding and a baby shower, and I have needed to use it both times. Once was for one of the bridesmaids at the wedding, and the other time I used it for a guest at a baby shower. The sewing kit is small enough to carry in a small purse. The quality is better than any kit I have ever used. You can tell it is not made with cheap products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I barely sew but this kit came in handy a few times when I needed to sew some of my child’s stuffed animals. I like that it’s small enough to be packed for travel. It came with a good amount of thread spools in common colors and I love that it has a few buttons and safety pins. This kit has everything I need and I don’t have to go out and look for extra things for those small jobs that come up. All the tools have their own place and the straps keep everything from moving around inside the cute denim case.
