This table is definitely solid wood - very heavy. Easy to put together, good color.

Perfect for two!
We received the table earlier than expected which was nice. It was, however, covered in a weird white patina? I guess it's a dirty cloth used to clean up the table before shipping it but it came off rather easily. Instructions were alright; we spent about two hours building it, and there were two screws missing. Fortunately, the table is quite stable even without. There was a little dent on the side of the table top but it is not too noticeable. The flip out leg is supported by this central leg that you have to manually move every time, and sort of lift the table to move it as it doesn't have wheels - therefore I wouldn't suggest this table for someone who would need to move the extra length all the time. Other than that, we've had it for a couple of weeks and it is stable! Doesn't shake and it is a perfect size for two :)

Difficult to Assemble
My husband is very good at assembling furniture however it took him about 5 hours to put this little table together. Not one of the holes was properly lined up and he had to re-drill every one. Nice little table but way too time consuming and frustrating to assemble. In retrospect, I would not have purchased this table had I know how much time he would have to spend on it.

Awesome table
It was very easy to bulid, made out of good wood, great for small spaces, good for four people, and easy to fold. Make sure to buy this table.

Love this table
We have a tiny dining room and wanted a table that will fit the space but also will accommodate guests when we have them. This table does both. We have it set for 2 people and pull our son's highchair up on the third side. When we need more table space we pull out the leaf. It's not a large table when it is all out but it is big enough for us!
