Dual Skillet Shaker Grill Basket Black - Outset: BBQ Cookware, Nonstick for Meats & Veggies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Outset Dual Skillet Shaker Basket set. This basket is 2 pieces the you can use individually or put together for one big basket. You have one piece that is a nice size skillet, the other piece is a deep basket. It has a nonstick coating, and both pieces have handles. These work great for grilling things like veggies. I love to grill mushrooms this works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you love to grill vegetables, you need to add this basket to your tool set. I cut up my vegetables, toss them with olive oil and seasonings, and add to the basket. No more tedious turning piece by piece or stuff falling through the grates! Just flip, shake and grill till done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little dubious about whether I would be able to use this mesh skillet for multiple purposes. I dislike appliances/tools that have only one very specific use. I was happily proven wrong. This is perfect for roasting veggies on the grill, steaming mussels, and even for quick cooking shrimp and other more fragile proteins. I usually grill my shrimp on skewers, but decided to see how they would turn out in this grill basket. So so much easier to just give the skillet a quick toss and set back on the grill grate. Nonstick coating makes cleanup quick and easy, but I I do still use nonstick spray before I load up the skillet. The long “helper handle” is awesome. Would recommend for foods that are great on the grill but are usually pretty fussy to prepare otherwise.

I love the dual concept, where you can take the top off and grill something else in it separately. This basket is so versatile and is made well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never had one of these before so I wasn’t completely sure how to use it, but I looked up some recipes online and now I’m not sure how I went so long without one! You can use it for literally everything you want to cook, steam, grill ESPECIALLY vegetables and seafood, and no matter what you do, cleanup is a breeze!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far my favorite grilling tool. Works great, I love filling it with veggies and tossing it on the smoker. One suggestion if you're looking at getting this is to buy yourself a nice pair of insulated grill gloves and skip trying to use the handles, grab the basket and give it a toss while holding it closed with the gloves instead of trying to use the handles and them slipping and opening.

We've found so many different ways to use this with our grill. Our favorite is to season the veggies and shake while cooking. The basket has held up to the dishwasher well and seems to be very good quality. It's an accessory you don't know you need until you use it.

With the basket having two pieces it makes flipping the vegetables and meats so much easier, and they cook evenly this way. The basket if made with a non-stick coating that works great. The holes are small enough that most items will not fall out.

Baskets are a must for any griller! Cook all different foods with perfect sear on all sides. Great for meat and vegetables and allows for food not to slip fall through. Cast iron and very durable. Great quality and awesome product for any griller!
