Q: I need to replace batteries on a Kidde smoke detector which requires a 9 volt battery. The smoke detector states if it’s a Duracell battery to have a code of MN1604 or MX1604. Do these batteries have that coding?

Little did I know that they would be used for something more important. Hurricane Ian was heading our way so we gathered our supplies and started replacing batteries, turns out it was my daughter's flashlight that needed 9V. We spent 2 days without power, and those batteries never failed us. Duracell is our go to batteries for everything now.
