If you like NFL, get this.
This is a super fun game and is awesome that it is on Nintendo 2. It sometimes takes a bit to load it looks weird when they tackle and throw the ball. Other than that, you should defintly buy this for a football fan

Awful. Stay Away.
Terrible controls, choppy graphics, very lazy effort by EA. This game is unplayable if you want smooth gameplay.

Portal Nightmare Lazy
Really lazy bad job by EA on this portal. Unrealistic glitchy movements. Huge let down. They did a much much better job with FC25.

Great Port
First Madden on a Nintendo console in over a decade and it's a pretty decent port, has all the next gen features and after some patches its running a lot better and looks great visually. plus lots of people active online, just wish it had crossplay and College Football 26 on Switch 2 to transfer from

Just plain awful
TLDR - 55+ gb game download, splash screens choppy, audio/graphics not aligned, player bugs during gameplay, commentary can't keep up with gameplay (often behind a play or two), super buggy game, feels like an alpha/beta game - not production ready. Don't buy unless super sale of $20 or less!! So I happened to pick this up at almost half off at $38 from an online Target sale. I read the previous bad reviews and thought that I should still give it a go since I was getting a deal - because hey, half off! Wrong! So I received the physical game card. I thought that I could just put in into the console and off I go. Nope! The console had to download 50+ Gigs (holy smokes!) to get the game to play. Fine, I went and did some house chores. Later on I saw that the game was ready to play so I dove in. Game loading time is 30 seconds to a minute to go through all of EAs splash screens, etc - jeez it's 2025 not 1995! Fine. I go through all of the first time setup - no comment on this since it seems to be pretty standard. Finally, I get to start a Franchise - go through all of that setup and it's finally time to actually play a game. Game starts and game play looks just like College Football 25 that I play on my Xbox Series X. Cool! Controls are a little different from xbox since the buttons are reversed (X is Y, Y is X and same for A and B), but I got used to it pretty quickly. Within a few minutes of playing I notice a bunch of stuff. Game splash screens extremely choppy, audio can't seem to keep up with graphics, defensive players lining up on the offensive side of the ball looking lost, commentary gets behind gameplay by a play or two often ("he powers through the defense for 6 yards" on a first down play when I'm now on 3rd down, etc), offensive lineman blocking air - just plain horrible gameplay. It feels like EA did the absolute minimum possible to port this game over to work on the Switch 2 console. Additionally, it feels like the console isn't "beefy" enough to handle the game, or that EA is just super sloppy with their development. EA must have skipped paying for any QA because of all the weird bugs. Overall, I feel ripped off - really ripped off. I *only* paid $38 for this game, but I wouldn't pay $15 for it. It's not production ready at all. It's a money grab by EA and the fact that it's originally priced at $70 is laughable. Please save your money until there is a sale for this game that prices it under $20. Even if you grab it for that price, you'll be pretty irritated with all the bugs and issues. It's hard to enjoy.

Madden 26
This game has been substantially improved from when it was first released. Understand it’s the Switch 2 not the PS5 or XBOX power it’s its good enough. Looks good plays good. I also found that it ran better on the Switch hard drive not external. That’s where you get the glitches and studder. I’m very happy with my purchase especially at this price.😎

Fun game!
Super fun game! Wife gifted me this because she knew I wanted a portable Madden and with switch it’s easier to take on the go! Graphics looks solid and game play is fun. The game does stutter a bit when doing the intros and stuff but it’s not that bad imo. Worth it!

Madden 26 Switch 2 Edition
For those confused. The box contains physical cartridge which contains “Key Card” only, you have to download the whole game via Internet. As far as the game… it’s portable on the go for someone like me that travels a lot. Looks and runs great for what it is.
