The plates have lip edges, which is a plus. The set is dishwasher and microwave safe. They definitely feel sturdy and like a product that will last a long time.

Just upon opening the box and holding the plates, I can tell they are high quality and extremely durable. They have a nice weight to them and the coffee color will match perfectly with practically any dining room and kitchen. I particularly like the bowls because they have a wide rim. These will make the perfect addition to my home.
