Ecolline Manuka Marula Protective Serum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been testing the Ecolline Manuka Marula Serum and it definitely feels like a quality product from the moment you pump it out. The texture is really interesting-it's rich but spreads easily. The hydration is the standout feature for me; my skin feels instantly quenched after applying. I did notice it leaves a slight residue after application-it's not a "dry touch" finish immediately. However, it is not uncomfortable at all. It feels more like a protective barrier sealing the moisture in rather than a sticky film. Once it settles, your skin just feels soft and healthy. I look forward to seeing the effects of the product after more long-term use!

I've used highen, down to the low end, and don't think I've been as impressed by the instant feel of my skin, as i was after using this. The bottle comes with a convenient dispensing pump top. The product comes out a thin line of mid weight serum, which looks more like a lotion. It spreads nicely and soaks into your skin quickly. It does not leave a sticky or wet feel, and dries with a matte type finish. It is not perfumed, yet has very faint honey/vanilla scent. I would not have noticed it had i not smelled my hands afterward. I literally kept touching my face after applying, in awe of how smooth and moisturized it felt, and that was before adding actual moisturizer. I will definitely be trying their other products and feel they will be a staple in my skin care routine. I love that is clean beauty/ewg verified. It is too soon to tell the long term results of using this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hopefully that this would be a nice moisturizing serum. It's quite pricey. I had difficulty figuring out how to get the pump to work. I was about to give up and accidentally dropped it. All of a sudden, the pump started working. It rubs in well and feels soft. I don't think I would but this again as it is too expensive

Although it is called a serum, it does appear to be more like a lotion consistency. The serum nourishes dry skin without leaving a sticky residue. Directions state to apply moisturizer on top of this serum. It may seem a little expensive for the size, but I believe that is because it includes manuka honey (UMF 20+). Overall I am pleased!

It is on the thicker side and comes out of the tube more like a thin moisturizer than a traditional serum. It absorbs quickly and should be used under a moisturizer, which is great for winter months. The scent is very faint, but pleasant. I would recommend for dry skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this product online and it was very impressed when it came in the mail. The packaging appears to be made from a recycled material. The packaging is streamlined and very aesthetic. The colors are muted. The labeling on the box is in both English and another language which I believe is Korean. I was surprised to see that this product has an expiration date of November of this year. So I would recommend that you pay attention to the expiration date when purchasing this. The expiration date is listed both on the actual packaging of the product and the box. And the actual packaging of the product has parts of it that are recyclable as well. According to the directions on the package, you are supposed to apply the serum before your moisturizer. There is not a specific instruction as to whether this is for your body or for your face. I assume that it is for my face.

The manuka serum comes out in a nice little pump that you can utilize for using as much or as little as the day before. My face can get so dry but with this I don’t have to worry at all - I know my face is protected and the serum is working hard to moisturize.

I'm pretty hesitant to add in something new, but was excited to try this. I've been using this as a base layer under moisturizer. I like that it absorbs very quickly, and only has the very faintest of a nice light sent. My skin definitely feels soft and moisturized after using this! Also, I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation, and my skin has stayed nice and clear.

I didn’t even realize I was wearing it. The smell is floral but is not overpowering. My favorite part is that it is a clean beauty brand! My only complaint is how small the bottle is.

It also fries immediately so you don’t have to wait before moving on to your moisturizer which I appreciate on busy mornings. I love the pump to make it easy to get out just the amount you need so you don’t waste any. My skin feels great all day after I use this!

The first time I used it I didn’t really like the thickness of it, but I think I’m used to more of a liquid serum. After using it again I did like the serum, and appreciate the thickness of the serum. It is unscented which is nice. It’s hydrating and goes on smoothly. It really does help my skin look smooth and refreshed.

I have very sensitive skin and noticed that my face turned slightly pink after applying this product. This was an indication that this product may not be the best fit for my sensitive skin. However, it seems to be a high quality product and worth trying if you don’t have sensitive skin.

I love the top as it’s easy to use and distributes the perfect amount for me with a simple pump. The lotion is smooth and easy to apply. It’s smells amazing. I love that it has manuka honey in it!

I had a serum I loved that went out of stock so decided to give this one a try! So far I’ve really enjoyed it. It leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh, no greasy or shiny. I usually use a moisturizer directly afterwards, as recommended and if locks in the moisture well!

I love how nourishing and soft this makes my skin feel after applying it. this is made with organic, natural ingredients that strengthens and protects my skin barrier. Overall it made my skin feel healthy, moisturized, and not oily. The only thing that I was upset about is that I thought this would be in a bigger bottle.

What I like about this serum is it is thin and sheer when applied, but it really does lock in moisture! It’s crazy how something so lightweight can make my skin feel plump even in winter. It is also nice that a little goes a long way so I feel it’s a great value!

It doesn’t have a fragrance which is nice and it didn’t irritate my skin. The bottle is nice and the pump works well. It didn’t leave my skin feeling super sticky like other serums have. It’s so easy to apply and absorbs right in so it doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily or greasy. I just got it, so I can’t speak to any major changes/improvements to my skin. CONS: the first few times I used the serum, it made my skin sting. It felt like when you use a menthol chapstick on really chapped lips. It was probably because my skin was so dry that this happened. It didn’t necessarily hurt, but it was quite unpleasant. However, after using it for a few days, this sensation stopped. So maybe it is in fact working and my skin is no longer dry & desperate, an that’s why the stinging stopped.

It makes my skin so dewy in the morning. It’s lightweight but incredibly rich, and doesn’t upset my sensitive skin. I’d highlight recommend this to everyone I know!

I have tried a variety of products over the year but what got me with the spf that is needed daily. The product is light and has a very low fragrance. On the face, it was not heavy and offers an excellent protectant. Overall, very happy and excited to continue use!
