A: Hello, Thank you for your interest in the Jumbo 4-to-Score game unit. Both of the red sliders have 2 hooked shaped tabs on the end, which allow it to hold the rings in place however it sometimes can be tricky to initially get the sliders into the slots. You can push in the sliders to the point where the hooks touch the slot, then using a bit more force should allow you to push the sliders further into the slot where they will then work properly.
