Educational Insights Alphabet Bean Bags

I have been working on letters with my daughter and thought we could make some fun games out of the bean bags! Well, I’m thoroughly disappointed. They are cheap and poorly made.. I received to Rs and no G.

We have used the product for alphabet toss, alphabet matching and I plan on use them for many other activities

It is a very educational game with excellent quality and easy to store because it comes with a very colorful bag for after the game and it is a perfect gift for birthdays or Christmas. I recommend it better than other types of educational toys that I have bought.

These bags are horrible quality. I would not expect them to last very long. The bags are tiny and the letters are printed on. The stitches are lose and messy. The inside is made of what sounds like cheap plastic bead. The sound of them is like nails on a chalk board.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so grateful to have the opportunity to test out these alphabet bean bags with my 5 year old daughter. She just started kindergarten this fall and she is loving everything. My little sponge just loves learning, but she also wants to have fun. We started off just scattering the bean bags, and I made her find them for me in alphabetical order. We practiced doing it all lowercase, all uppercase, and then mixed. She loved seeing how fast she could do it. She even got her 2 year old brother playing with her. She'd have him bring her a bean bag and she'd tell him what letter it was and made him repeat it back. As a mom, I loved seeing them play together, but as a teacher, I loved the learning that was happening for both of them. I also love that the letters are all in blue,, except for the vowels which are red. This will help immensely when we start doing CVC words. I highly recommend these to all the moms early childhood teachers our there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These beanbags are such a fun alternative to standard phonetic learning. There's so many ways to play with them. For preschoolers, you can draw one bag at a time and practice letter naming and sounds. You could even make a game of throwing the beanbags into buckets or baskets and saying the name or sound of the letter. I like that there are both upper and lowercase on either side and the vowels have red thread to distinguish from consonants. Older kids can use these as well by making CVC words to practicing reading. The storage bag is a nice touch as well!

These bean bags are just the right size, heavy enough to let kids throw yet don't have to worry about them hurting each other. I discovered a couple fun ways to play with my kids, they love it and learned a lot. I wish these can have more colors, that will make the game even more fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are 3.5 and almost 5, they're excited by learning and love talking about letter sounds and words but they're also extremely active and distracted easily. Overall, the Alphabet Beanbags from Educational Insights are the perfect play-inspired learning game for children like mine. It's so hands-on and interactive and since it's a game they don't get bored easily or want to stop playing, when in reality they are actually learning. My eldest loves to string the beanbags together to spell out words and is very proud of herself when she does so. I love that I can create tossing games for both kids to play based on the different color coded consonant and vowel sounds. There are endless activities you can create to promote play based learning with small children. The quality of the bean bags and their tidy storage bag are wonderful, they're colorful and sturdy and the kids love to clean up their letters and put them away. So actually this product also encourages helping and clean up as well which is just an added bonus. I would absolutely recommend to any educators or parents looking for a great sensory based and interactive alternative to the standard pencil and paper alphabet activities.

My early elementary School age kids got easily frustrated with the fact that there were not enough fouls for them to spell actual words. My preschool son thought it was fun but got bored of the letters and started just throwing them instead. Interesting concept, but it needs a little bit more thought to be a successful product

I got really upset after the airport inspector ruined the bags and threw them away, good that my toddler was not there! I would include such warning on the bag so ppl would know before buying.

My three year old received this for Christmas and has really been enjoying practicing his letters with them. They are very well made and seem like they will last a while. Good product for a preschooler!

I was really happy with the Alphabet Bean Bag product. The Alphabet Bean Bags are made with great quality and have awesome embroidery on the bean bags! I can tell that the bean bags will last for a long time. I really love the fact that the alphabet bean bags comes with a drawstring bag for easy cleanup and storage! My niece had a lot of fun with the Alphabet Bean Bags. She is 3 years old and this is perfect for her to start working on her alphabets before she starts preschool so she can get a head start! We love that there are 7 fun activities on the activity guide included so we can have hours and hours of learning fun! All around a great product and we definitely recommend this product to everyone!

I was happy to find a set of Bean Bags that had the capital letter on one side and the lower case on the other.
