We bought these after seeing my daughter interact with them during a speech therapy session at 2. She says the letter, opens them, says what’s inside, then says bye to whatever is inside. Also great ABC tool. A little hard to put the cap back on but overall love these simple yet very interactive learning toys.

I bought these for my 2 year old. I think he is still too young for them though. I think once he turns 3 he will be able to actually do more of what it’s meant for. As of now he just likes playing with the little toys.
Good but for older age group

I love the alphabet acorns for my twin boys!! They love to sort by color and see the objects inside. They are quickly learning the capital and lowercase of all letters. I would most definitely buy this again!

We absolutely love these little acorns. Each one has an uppercase letter on the outside with reciprocating lowercase letter under the top of the acorn. There are cute little objects in each acorn that represent that letter. My son (2.5 years old) loves putting these together as well as taking them apart. I only wish that they would have used brighter letters in the acorns or a lighter brown for the outside - some of them are a little hard to see unless you are in great lighting. I highly recommend to any toddler parents!

We just received this Christmas gift/pandemic home study activity toy and my kiddos have played it in various ways.. ....you can stack the acorns and match the same color-coded object (BPA safe and plastic-soft based) hidden phonic items inside each acorns that corresponds with the same color of the acorns’ top covers. It is removable and can be used in water table or as bath toys, also to travel with, and can be stacked for space efficiency and sustainable eco-friendly! It’s a good investment for children to learn linguistic basic skills or language development. I would recommend it^

I bought this product over a month ago for my Pre-K classroom! So far, they have held up amazingly, even with 18 4-year-olds playing with them almost daily! This activity is great for identifying letters and letter sounds.

My boys like this, however, the grasshopper for the “G,g” acorn was missing. Also misleading and most difficult for me was that the “V,v” acorn has a “van” figure. However, it looks like a bus, so we put it in the B acorn. Only to find later that the boat had no place to go. It made it a bit confusing to my son who already has problems learning his sounds and letters. This game is being returned because of that. The “V” should have been violin or at least a better looking van.
So cute!

I am a pre-K teacher. Fun fall toy. Bought one of these last year for use in the classroom. Great quality to be used by many little hands and good learning tool for matching uppercase and lowercase and beginning letter sounds. Just purchased another for my granddaughter.

I bought this for my 3 yr old granddaughter. She loves the little "toys" inside and is learning to match toys to colors on the acorns. We are working on the alphabet side of this set too. The tops can be a little tricky to close, but it's a good way to work on fine motor skills and patience.

My daughter is already having fun with these. Each acorn has an item that starts with the letter on the acorn. Inside the lid of the acorn is the lowercase letter. Some of the images are kind of strange, maybe items that the child won't yet know or are hard to figure out. For example, the k is koala and while my daughter knows what a koala is, the figure is more bear looking. The v is for van, which kind of looks like a bus (or as my daughter said, an ice cream truck) and the z is for zebra, but since it is just orange the stripes are hard to make out. A few of the lids are harder to get on. All of the negatives I listed are overshadowed by how amazing this is for helping learn letter sounds and beginning reading. I am pulling out 5 acorns at a time to work on, pulling out the images, and we match them up together. With the situations in the world, if you are looking for a preschool activity for at home, this is it.
