Lovely sensory play
The little boy who got this for a present loves it! He's autistic and loves squishy sensory play, but was forever leaving Play Doh to glom onto carpets. This will save further damage and he's very happy playing with it!

Carrying case is so useful!
My daughter's had Playfoam before, but the fact that this comes in a carrying case is everything. The case has 9 compartments so you can keep the colors separate (not my child--all the colors were mixed in minutes) or even put other small toys that you usually step on. You can store craft material to make an on-the-go craft kit. The art on the front is colorful and fun, too.

Kids love it but it's a bit messy
Received this as a gift for my almost 3 year old B/G Twins. They really enjoyed playing with it and found the texture and design fascinating. Kept them entertained for about 20 minutes. They enjoyed opening the different colors and pressing them into the shapes on the lid. It is a very unique product and it's cool that they're able to press the stuff into the shapes. It is true that it doesn't get stuck in furniture or carpet. However, some of the small balls that make up the mass did come off and i found those all over. Perhaps for older kids that isn't an issue because they can keep it together. It was very difficult to keep the colors separate as well and as soon as it was mixed you couldn't unmix it. No big deal as long as you were expecting that.

Fun for the airplane!
I bought 4 of these for our 2 girls (4 and 6) and my niece and nephew 5 for our 9-hour flight to Hawaii. They absolutely loved it and played with their sets for over an hour, and my niece who has celiac was also able to play. Thanks, EI!

Perfect "To Go" Pack & Less "Messy" Messy Play!
So you hate the thought of play-dough in your home...the smooshed pieces in your carpet, digging it out of sneaker with a toothpick like it's an excavator but know and understand the benefits and importance of squeezing, pushing, pulling, twisting, smooshing, and creating for the very young to the very old. Educational Insights has bridged the gap regarding the mess of messy play. A compromise if you are an anti-play dough household. Floam ROCKS! This particular box is an "on the go" version! This is the perfect "to go" play activity to keep your child, young and old, engaged in meaningful experiences in the car, at a restaurant, doctors office, or any other area that doesn't fit their "waiting" tolerance (just say no to electronics). To throw a curve ball we adapted this kit to scaffold creativity, manipulation, fine motor, visual motor, language, academics and play by adding "loose parts". Don't panic, just open your junk drawer or pick up your couch cushions and you will find a plethora of "loose parts" to add. We added, toothpicks, paper clips, buttons, perler beads, alphabet beads, coffee stirrers, and clothespins. Also, colors are meant to be blended and explored...it's ok if they mix them!

Love the product and the carrying case
We love Playfoam because it is fun and there is no mess when our daughter plays with it. We travel a lot, so I was super excited to see a travel version. The Playfoam Go is compact and has different comparments for each color. I also love how the lid has different patterns that our daughter can use to mold the Playfoam into different shapes.
