Elite Cuisine 8" Quesadilla Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just opened my Elite Gourmet 8" Quesadilla Maker! Love it and easy to use. It reminds of the original grill cheese maker from the 80's except it is a red appliance with a pepper as the handle, very cute. It's as easy as plugging in the appliance and putting two tortillas with cheese, veggies, chicken or any food that you want between tortillas. You place the tortillas in and pressure cover down on it. it' cuts them into 6 individual slices: I'd say any pre-teenage and up could use this and make their own snack or meal. So easy! Also it's super to clean because it's non-stick. Also when you all done, when putting it away, it's stands upright, which is perfect for those that don't have tons of storage place! It you or your family loves to eat quesadilla especially "on the fly", this appliance is perfect for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Elite Gourmet 8" Quesadilla Maker is one of my favorite kitchen appliances ! Its very easy to use and my quesadillas turned out perfectly , just plug it in and wait for the green light to come on to signal the perfect cooking temperature. It even scores the lines in the tortilla to insure even slices. Clean up is a breeze , just wiped it down with a damp paper towel when it cooled off. Also included was a booklet with care instructions as well as recipes to get you started. I recommend this product , I think its something my whole family will enjoy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this and have already used it several times. It makes a quesadilla in just minutes. However if you use more than just cheese you will have to cut the ingredients into minute pieces and even still the lid won't close completely. It still worked and made tasty snacks. The tortilla gets nice and brown on bottom more than the top. I suggest leaving about 1 inch around the edge of the tortilla for room for the ingredients to spread while cooking. Love the jalapeno handle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this quesadilla maker because I love Quesadillas but I am not good at making them in a skillet or anything like that. I wasn't really sure, if having one of these would make it more easier, or if it would be complicated as some appliances are. This without a doubt, has to be one of the easiest kitchen appliances ever to operate. Literally, I chopped up some chicken breast and cooked them in a skillet (although for future reference, I now know to shred the chicken instead of using chunks or cubes of chicken breast), then I sauteed some fresh chopped onions and bell peppers, plugged in the Quesadilla maker and waited for the light to tell me it was ready, then... I laid one tortilla on the bottom plate of the quesadilla maker, topped it with chicken, onions, bell pepper and shredded cheese, then placed the other tortilla on top of that, closed the lid, let it cook for like 4-5 minutes and then it was done and was perfectly cooked. When it was finished, I used tongs to grip the edge of the quesadilla and pull it onto my plate. Then I used a pizza cutter to cut it into triangles. After that, all I had to do was sit and enjoy it. The only issue I had with this was that it says not to unplug it unless the green light is off, but the green light kept coming back on frequently enough that I had trouble catching it when the light was off. Other than that, this is seriously one if the easiest appliances to use and I am so happy that I can now enjoy quesadillas any time I want. Another thing that I absolutely love about this is that when you are not using it, it stands upright for easy and more compact storage. I am always needing things that do not take up much space in my kitchen; so this is definitely a blessing. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone I know.

This thing is awesome!! It’s really light weight, but very durable. It has a great look and makes a perfect quesadilla. The nonstick cooking surface makes it easy to clean and it even has a drip pan that will collect any dripping oil or butter that runs off. It does an excellent job heating up and makes quick work of producing an excellent quesadilla. I highly recommend this as your next kitchen purchase!

I use this quesadilla maker for multiple things - quesadilla, heating up smaller tacos and also making crepes, which are popular in this house! Easy to use and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say that the Elite Gourmet Quesadilla maker has proved somewhat average to me. So far, I've made about four different kinds of quesadilla. Each time I've made one, my timing has been off. Average time has been anywhere from 2-3 minutes. If it goes to 4 minutes, my quesadilla turn out hard, overly brown and slightly burnt. The latch broke off on the 1st try. Every time I fix a quesadilla I have to hold the top down because the latch will not stay attached. It's easy and convenient to make quesadillas, I just wish the latch would stay attached.

Takes up minimal space on the countertop and when storing it since it is able to store on the side. It is also really easy to clean, no issues whatsoever! The only downfall is that the latch to close the quesadilla maker is flimsy and seems like it would be easy to break.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent quesadilla maker, looks nice. It is a bright & shiny red on the exterior. You can store it upright as a space saving measure. The non-stick surface works well. It makes wedge marks on the tortilla, so the food looks as though it was made in restaurant. Heats up super fast and cooks evenly. The latch piece is made of plastic and pops off easily would be my only criticism.

Si went out and bought a Elite Gourmet 8 inch Quesadilla maker and i made breakfast ones with sausage, scrambled eggs and cheese and 8 inch wheat Quesadilla shells and they were awesome!!! If you want to make them at home buy the Elite Gourmet maker, great for breakfast or just a snack, you can put just about anything you want in them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fun little kitchen gadget makes wonderful quesadillas! I love that’s it’s easy to clean up afterwards with a paper towel. It’s simple and has a green light to tell you when the quesadilla is done, similar to a waffle machine? Although you could make these on the stove top, it’s nice to get designated cutting lines and cooks so much quicker!

With this quesadilla maker you can only put a small amount of food on the maker. The maker took about two minutes to get warm enough to use. I don't recommend that you place strips of chicken onto the maker. The quesadilla maker is perfect for someone who likes to make the cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla maker won't close all the way if there is meat inside of the quesadilla. The maker is easy to clean and you can store it upward for easily space and storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right upon opening the box, I noticed that there was already a piece broken off. The chili pepper handle had snapped off. This was fairly indicative of the quality of the rest of the product. For making a quesadilla, this product does its job. I like the non-stick plates that make clean up easy. The lid is fairly heavy so it causes everything inside the quesadilla to spill out. The up-right storage feature is nice. Overall this is fine, but I don't think I would recommend this unless you just really love making quesadillas all the time.

It does take a little bit of time to warm up but this gives you time to assemble the ingredients you will need. Once you put your tortillas in and add the filling, you have a cheesy, crunchy quesadilla just three minutes later. The instruction book has several great recipes that we will be trying. While you are not supposed to have a separate appliance for every job in your kitchen, this one is great and will be very handy. I do not believe you could go wrong if you pick this as your next small kitchen appliance. Fun for the whole family!

Honestly, I don't make quesadillas and will just roll the tortilla with the ingredients inside. But, the ease of using this appliance and making perfect triangular pieces that are easy to dip will change my cooking routine. The Quesadilla Maker perfectly melts the ingredients inside the tortillas and scores the tortillas for easy cutting. The appliance is easy to set up, easy to clean, and easy to store. Because of all the good qualities of this appliance it a necessity in any kitchen. The meal I made with this Elite Gourmet Quesadilla Maker was delicious.
