Elite Cuisine 8" Quesadilla Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this and have already used it several times. It makes a quesadilla in just minutes. However if you use more than just cheese you will have to cut the ingredients into minute pieces and even still the lid won't close completely. It still worked and made tasty snacks. The tortilla gets nice and brown on bottom more than the top. I suggest leaving about 1 inch around the edge of the tortilla for room for the ingredients to spread while cooking. Love the jalapeno handle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this quesadilla maker because I love Quesadillas but I am not good at making them in a skillet or anything like that. I wasn't really sure, if having one of these would make it more easier, or if it would be complicated as some appliances are. This without a doubt, has to be one of the easiest kitchen appliances ever to operate. Literally, I chopped up some chicken breast and cooked them in a skillet (although for future reference, I now know to shred the chicken instead of using chunks or cubes of chicken breast), then I sauteed some fresh chopped onions and bell peppers, plugged in the Quesadilla maker and waited for the light to tell me it was ready, then... I laid one tortilla on the bottom plate of the quesadilla maker, topped it with chicken, onions, bell pepper and shredded cheese, then placed the other tortilla on top of that, closed the lid, let it cook for like 4-5 minutes and then it was done and was perfectly cooked. When it was finished, I used tongs to grip the edge of the quesadilla and pull it onto my plate. Then I used a pizza cutter to cut it into triangles. After that, all I had to do was sit and enjoy it. The only issue I had with this was that it says not to unplug it unless the green light is off, but the green light kept coming back on frequently enough that I had trouble catching it when the light was off. Other than that, this is seriously one if the easiest appliances to use and I am so happy that I can now enjoy quesadillas any time I want. Another thing that I absolutely love about this is that when you are not using it, it stands upright for easy and more compact storage. I am always needing things that do not take up much space in my kitchen; so this is definitely a blessing. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone I know.

I use this quesadilla maker for multiple things - quesadilla, heating up smaller tacos and also making crepes, which are popular in this house! Easy to use and clean.

Takes up minimal space on the countertop and when storing it since it is able to store on the side. It is also really easy to clean, no issues whatsoever! The only downfall is that the latch to close the quesadilla maker is flimsy and seems like it would be easy to break.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent quesadilla maker, looks nice. It is a bright & shiny red on the exterior. You can store it upright as a space saving measure. The non-stick surface works well. It makes wedge marks on the tortilla, so the food looks as though it was made in restaurant. Heats up super fast and cooks evenly. The latch piece is made of plastic and pops off easily would be my only criticism.

It was easy to use even though no instructions came with it. Also, it saved cooking time. I know this will be a product that is use frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fun little kitchen gadget makes wonderful quesadillas! I love that’s it’s easy to clean up afterwards with a paper towel. It’s simple and has a green light to tell you when the quesadilla is done, similar to a waffle machine? Although you could make these on the stove top, it’s nice to get designated cutting lines and cooks so much quicker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right upon opening the box, I noticed that there was already a piece broken off. The chili pepper handle had snapped off. This was fairly indicative of the quality of the rest of the product. For making a quesadilla, this product does its job. I like the non-stick plates that make clean up easy. The lid is fairly heavy so it causes everything inside the quesadilla to spill out. The up-right storage feature is nice. Overall this is fine, but I don't think I would recommend this unless you just really love making quesadillas all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this quesadilla maker yesterday and have used it two times already. It does take a little bit of time to warm up but this gives you time to assemble the ingredients you will need. Once you put your tortillas in and add the filling, you have a cheesy, crunchy quesadilla just three minutes later. The instruction book has several great recipes that we will be trying. While you are not supposed to have a separate appliance for every job in your kitchen, this one is great and will be very handy. I do not believe you could go wrong if you pick this as your next small kitchen appliance. Fun for the whole family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes an average size quesadilla. Very easy to use and cooks well. Great for making a quick meal or snack. I love the color and the jalapeño as the handle, very cute and stores easily out of the way.
