Q: Are the plates removable?
A: No, however they are nonstick and very easy to wipe clean!
submitted byDash Support Team - 6 years agoBrand expertA: I Agree. Very Easy to clean.
submitted bySteve S - 5 years agoA: I agree. Easy enough to clean. A damp paper towel does it. Crusty spills need five minutes with the paper towel draped over, then it wipes clean.
submitted byGigi - 6 years agoA: what exactly are the nonstick cooking surfaces made of?

Q: Do they all include with a recipe booklet? Mine didn’t :(
A: Yes! A very small one!
submitted byTiff - 5 years agoA: Hello, thank you for your question. All of our instruction manuals have recipes at the end, if yours was missing please email support@storebound.com and we'll make sure you get one right away!
submitted byDash Support Team - 6 years agoBrand expertA: Recipe book? It makes one thing, waffles. I googled waffle recipe and found 1,000 identical recipes for waffle batter.

Q: How do I know when the waffle is ready for me to take it out does it ding or make a light or something like that?
A: Hello, thank you for your question. The indicator light on the product indicates the pre-heating process & goes off when the maker is ready to use. A typical waffle cooks in 4-5 minutes. There is no alarm for when it is done, but the Mini Waffle Maker is easy to use & you can lift the top periodically to ensure it is golden brown enough to your liking.
submitted byDash Support Team - 3 years agoBrand expertA: it made a very vivid click sound every time light switches on to off or vice versa. i could hear from 10 feet away if no tv or music around

Q: Is there an indicator light when the waffle is done cooking? Or approximately how much time for the waffle to cook?
A: Hello, there is no indicator light for when the waffle is done cooking. The indicator light is to note when the Dash Mini Waffle Maker is hot & ready to use! A typical waffle takes anywhere from 4-6 minutes to cook.
submitted byDash Support Team - 4 years agoBrand expertA: panini, garlic bread, pizza all crispy in 2 minutes, but not brown (healthier)

Q: I am assuming the product comes with an electrical cord. If so, is it attached or detachable? How long is it?
A: Hello, thank you for your interest in Dash products! This product has a cord attached & it is about 30 inches long.
submitted byDash Support Team - 4 years agoBrand expertA: Attached, does not come off. Not sure how long the cord is, but if I had to guess 2ft maaaaybe.

Q: How long does it take to make one waffle?
A: Hello, Thank you for your question, it takes anywhere from 4-5 minutes to make 1 waffle, typically if you're making multiple, its a little quicker after the first one since the maker is a bit hotter already.
submitted byDash Support Team - 4 years agoBrand expertA: It takes 4-5 min per waffle, depending on how much batter you are putting on the waffle maker.

Q: are these waffles the kind I can roll and make ice cream holder for kids? A mini cone?
A: Hello! These Mini Waffles are similar to the frozen kind you'd find in the grocery store and may be too thick for rolling into a cone. However, they are great for ice cream sandwiches! We'd recommend trying the Mini Pizelle Maker for something thinner that would be great for ice cream cones. Hope this helps!

Q: How long does it take for the indicator light to turn off when trying to heat the waffle maker? I've been waiting over 20 minutes and the light is still on.
A: Hello! Thank you for purchasing the Dash Mini Waffle Maker. The cooking surface should only take a few minutes to heat up so if you're finding your waffle maker and indicator light are not working properly, please reach out to bydash.com/help and they would be happy to assist in troubleshooting. Q: Is this waffle maker ceramanic
A: Hello! thank you for your interest in the Dash Mini Waffle Maker. The cooking surface is made of a die cast aluminum plate with a PFOA-free, PTFE nonstick coating. While PFOA is a harmful chemical, PTFE is an acronym for a type of cook-safe nonstick found in many types of kitchenware, so you can feel confident using this kind of nonstick. Please feel free to reach out to bydash.com/help if you have any additional questions. Our Customer Service team would be happy to assist.
