A: Cleaning of the waffle maker is not easy at all. DO NOT BUY. It takes forever to properly clean because you cannot put it in water...plus this waffle maker does not
brown on both sides evenly.

I have still not received this waffle maker. It has been delayed several times, even though there are still five units available on target.com. I didn't even find out about the delay until the day AFTER it was supposed to be delivered. Even with the delay, Target won't allow me to cancel my order so I plan to just refuse delivery if/when it ever shows up. Unfortunately, Target's customer service has been useless in rectifying the problem.

Not sure it isn't faulty
Used for the first time & it kept making a loud popping sound & jumping in the air. Is this normal or do I have a faulty iron? Waffles were good on first batch- burnt on third batch even when I turned it to low. Love the size & design.

The style is nice, I like the size of it and love how it’s so compact. My only complaint is that i wish it was easier to clean. It would be nice if you can just take the plates off to wash them. It has the heat adjustment so if I want slightly browner waffles I can get exactly how I like it. One thing annoying thing with waffle irons can be the clean up. You get caked on waffle and it's just messy. This was not my experience. It's non stick surface meant an easy clean up and storage. Great product!

I do wish the plates could come off so it was easier to clean because that is kind of pain. This also does not have a timer so you have to be careful and keep an eye on it so they don’t burn. Overall a good unit though and does the job well!

The power and preheat light indicate when the waffle maker is ready for the batter. It heats up quickly. My family says the waffles come out delicious. There is a waffle shade slider to adjust to your liking. The waffles are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. You can make 2 thick waffles at a time. In addition, the waffle maker is compact as the 2 compartments lock together and it can be stored vertically in my cupboard. Highly recommended in my household.
