Q: Can I use it in Italy with an adapter or do I need a converter?

  • A: Hello! Dash products are currently manufactured and tested for use only in North America.  We are currently working on making them available worldwide! As this is the case we do not recommend the use of Dash products overseas. Even with the use of an adapter or converter, the differences in power rating are likely the cause of these issues with the unit.     This review had less to do with the product as I loved it enough to buy a replacement when my kids dropped it and broke the handle. My replacement was apparently a repackaged product and covered in cooking oil. The plates still had oil on it and were rattling around in the box not in their inner cardboard box like the first one I purchased. One plate is damaged and unusable as the coating is coming off. The booklets are torn like they were ripped open from their wrapper. If I’m paying full price for an item I want it the way it was originally packaged not a repack.

    Perfect waffles every time

    I love that you don’t have to mess with the heat. It’s perfectly set just by plugging it in. The recipe makes very good waffles that comes in the little booklet.

    Space saving!

    We were using the plain griddle for a morning egg when one morning it was accidentally knocked off the counter and broke. I’m contemplating getting rid of our other dash waffle makers because this does the job. I do wish there was an organizer available for storing the plates so they don’t scratch up each other, etc. I love that the griddle is an easy way for my 4th grader and middle schooler to “cook” an egg etc with less mess than a pan on the stove.

    Cutest waffle maker ever!
