Q: What is the trick to making poached eggs? I tried it twice and the white never cooked enough. Also, is it possible to only make one poached egg or do you have to make 2 at a time?

The trick to making a poached egg with the Deluxe Egg Cooker is to let the eggs rest outside of the fridge for 5-10 minutes to get that initial chill off of them, and you can leave the lid on after the chime plays to let the residual heat cook the eggs. You will be pleased **if** you don't become victim of Dash's poor integrity and customer service!

I write this with regret! I bought a Deluxe Dash egg cooker. After experimentation, I was so impressed (making healthy omelets) that I bought 4 more (at a local retailer) and gave as Xmas gifts. I further discovered the usefulness of making 5-6 omelets in a session, refrigerating and reheating / eating throughout the week. To make multiples, I went on the Dash site and ordered 11 accessory kits just under five bucks each to use and further gift to the Xmas recipients. I discovered on arrival that they were the wrong size....for the basic not deluxe cooker....so I set out to return. The total purch was 55 bucks. Return fee is five bucks. It turns out it is five PER ITEM, so to return my 11 items, I would need to PAY the difference rather than get any refund. I found this unreasonable, so called customer service. I suggested I would be happy to pay ONE restock fee but not eleven. I've called 3 or 4 times discussing with the pleasant helpline folks, and they always promised "we'll have a manager contact you", but it has never happened. Bottom line, the products are good but you NEVER want to be a victim of their service. It lacks integrity and fairness. I warned the operators each time that if I would not get service, I would post a 100% honest yet unpleasant review. I'm doing this as I promised, after weeks of waiting. Dash, please take care of your customers!

I don’t have to do much! You have aTimer that lets you know when your eggs are hard boiled. And just put eggs in cold water!

Good eggs but broken tray

I love how many options are available in this egg cooker! However the first time I used the a small handle on the large boiling tray broke off. I was using it properly and it just came off in my fingers.

Holy Grail!

This egg maker is the holy grail! Just got it and used it immediately. Perfect boiled egg for deviled eggs and peeled SO easily. Couldn't be happier with this purchase and have a feeling I'll be making eggs often.

Waste of Time and Money

I will not be keeping this product. I bought this thinking it would be quicker and easier than the instapot. It’s actually harder. You have to poke the egg, which then makes the egg white come out of the hole while cooking. It then ran onto the hot plate. I tried this 3 different times and kept getting the same results. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

So I just bought this like 3 hours ago and boiled 16 eggs for the week and I already had 2 😆 the best thing ever! I’m so grateful someone created this! I know how to boil eggs but it’s not the same this is life changer SO HAPPY! Yall need to buy one NOW 😆👌

too many pieces

i like that it can cook 12 eggs, but i wish there weren't so many part. the top cover could have been just one piece. the pieces to hold the eggs could have also been one piece. if i lose one piece, it would probably be useless
