Timer comes on when I plug it in. The beeper works, but am I supposed to unplug it to get it to turn off???

Great looking product From first glance because I have purchased numerous egg cookers from various vendors but this used thicker plastic for the tray that holds the eggs. And just looks like a commercial egg cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is fantastic for someone who doesn't have a lot of space where they live or their cooking skills are on the very limited side. My husband who couldn't actually boil an egg before, followed the instructions for hard boiled to start with and they turned out perfectly. The soft boiled are also spot on with the instructions. I do have to say though that it is taking a few attempts to get the poached eggs to be perfect because if you follow the instructions the yolks will be hard, we still haven't mastered it yet. The omelet instructions are also spot on and easy to follow. It's easy to use and cleaning up doesn't take long either. We know a few people that have bought it and loved it since we suggested it to them. My husband has a job that means he could be away for months and staying in a hotel with no cooking facilities so this is perfect for him. It's an inexpensive device that in the end will save you money if you buy the pre-packaged boiled eggs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fabulous appliance. I use it at least twice a week. It's small, easy to use, easy to clean, and takes little space in a cupboard to store. Hard-cooked eggs turn out perfectly every time. I also enjoy being able to make poached eggs and small omelets in the same cooker. I'm 100% happy with this egg cooker. That said, the instruction booklet could use some clarifying... The water-measuring cup does not have markings that match the instructions. For the omelet, instructions are to add 50 mL water. There are NO mL markings on the cup. Also, I'm not sure what the 1-7 scale is for the soft, med, and hard cooked eggs. Also, is the egg piercer best used on the narrower end or the egg or the broader end? After some experimenting, I've figured it all out and am very pleased with the cooker.

I live a very fast paced life, and sometimes it’s hard to eat right and have the time to cook. This little gadget has made my life easier 10-fold. It’s so easy to use and it’s fast! I can pop some eggs in for hard boiled, soft boiled, poached or even an omelet and by the time I’m done getting ready for the day, my eggs are ready to be devoured! We have fresh eggs and this cooker make them taste amazing! This cooker is so easy to use and cook up to 7 eggs anyway that you want and steam vegetables as well. Just add the recommended amount of water in the basin, add the preferred egg(s) in the right cooker, put the lid on then turn on and watch for the red light to come on. When the egg style that you want is done or the water evaporates it will make a click sound and the eggs are done. Use a towel or mitt to remove the eggs because it is really hot. Let the machine cool then wipe clean and done. Also included is the water cup, and 2 different inserts for poached and omelets. I would highly recommend the Hamilton Beach 3 in 1 Egg Cooker for making eggs the easy way!

I can make up to 7 hard boiled, 2 poached eggs and a 1-2 egg omelet with this one appliance. The hard boiled eggs are easy to peel after cooling which never occurred before I used this gem of an egg cooker. This egg cooker is a must in your kitchen if you make egg dishes frequently like I do!
