Broken arm
The egg cooker is so cute! Unfortunately mine came with a broken handle. When it arrived, the box was all banged up so I suspected there may have been some damage. I thought about returning or exchanging it, but the arm didn’t seem like a functional part. The actual egg steamer works, I just tried it out. I am disappointed about the broken arm, but will continue to use this cute little kitchen gadget.

Water Cup marks disappear with rinsing only (no soap)
The measing cup markings started coming off immediately.. never put is dishwasher and I started just rinsing it off and still the markings are gone in less than a year...and since it was in normal volume measurements but egg number and type, i can't use a different cup. So useless now.

What a disappointment! The on/off button doesn’t work: if it’s plugged in, it’s automatically on and has to be unplugged to turn it off, and it arrived with a crack in the egg holder. Ugh!

One star is for the DELIVERY! I’d give zero if I could. These idiots delivered with NO BOX! Missing piercing needle
We have used this for hard boiled eggs, soft boiled eggs and poached. The directions for poached say to add water twice ands that is incorrect. They will end up hard as a rock. Just use one measure for the desired doneness and it is perfect. It really does a great job and takes up a minimum of counter space. This little cooker works great. It was missing the piercing needle. Cleaning is easy with the exception of where the water sits. We used filtered water and it still has stains.

Easy egg cooker!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical of this cooked since it doesn't have a timer, just an on/off button. But, following the instructions, you measure the amount of water, with the provided cup, based on how many eggs you are cooking and to what level of doneness (hard, medium, soft). Pour the water in, put the eggs in the egg holder, cover and hit the on button. Easy peasy. Once the cooker beeps that it is done (when the water is gone), turn it off, lift eggs out and place in cold water. Done and done! My cooker had some discoloration on the hot plate when it was done, buy the cleaning instructions had a tip about pour vinegar over is and letting it sit for several minutes before wiping clean and it was perfectly clean again! A great cooker providing an easy alternative to a big pot of boiling water! I also love that I can make little omelettes and poached eggs in it too!
