It’s ok not something I would recommend it really for one person you can’t make more the one batch cause the second will not cook through it has to rest and cool down I couldn’t make second batch for my husband.

I was excited to upgrade to a bigger egg bite maker. Since it’s more expensive I expected better quality. The first time using it the plastic lid started melting.

I absolutely love this egg bite maker. I tried the Dash one and it makes four ridiculously small egg bites that were misshapen. This Hamilton Beach one makes two really nice sized egg bites. I used two eggs, 1 teaspoon of cream, 1 teaspoon of shredded cheddar cheese, a sprinkling of chopped tomatoes, chopped peppers and bacon bites. Mixed it all together and poured them into the tray. You just pour in the water (I just removed the tray and poured the water in that way) and plug it in. When the green light goes off it’s ready. Quick and easy. And they were delicious!

I have recently gone keto and eat a lot of eggs and love making egg bites but hate having to use a whole muffin tin to make them just for me. This comes in so handy it makes them perfect every single time! The instructions are super easy and the only thing i would change about it is adding an alarm so you didn’t have to watch it. The egg bites maker is so easy to use.Makes them quickly with no standing over them to watch progress.. Eggs with a yolk that is solid are easy and come out perfect. The reason I only gave 4 stars is that the soft yoke eggs are sometimes inconsistent. You need to adjust the amount of water added to the egg maker to get soft center eggs. After several adjustments, I came up with an amount different than instructions, which is understandable. Most of the time they come out beautifully. On some occasions, one side is perfect and the other is under done in the whites. You then need to take the perfectly done one out and resume cooking the other for a bit more. Not a deal breaker though.. If you leave the eggs in after the light goes out they will continue to cook and if too long will be semi soft in the center. So you need to pay attention if making runny centers. Overall a very good product which allows you to do other prep when making the eggs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is very convenient for making egg bites for my daughter. Shes very picky on how she likes her eggs and these makes them perfectly fluffy. It's easy to use and easy to clean. Two downsides. I wish the lid was connected and it produces a lot of steam. I wouldnt recommend using on a counter under your cabinet. Other than that, it's great. This egg bites maker is great I like how easy it is to make my own egg bites at home and it’s easy to use and add whatever ingredients I want to my egg bites and they are so good this is nonstick which is great and it’s dishwasher safe for easy cleanup I like that it made my egg bites in less than 10 minutes for a quick easy breakfast and how simple it is to use it’s very small so it fits on my counter great this is a really cool kitchen gadget and I definitely recommend this [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I absolutely LOVE this Egg Bites Maker! Not only does it make delicious egg bites you can customize to your liking, it also makes awesome poached eggs. By adjusting the water you add you can get the eggs to cook to your liking. It does take some experimenting to get poached eggs right, but when you figure it out they come out perfect each time. When the green light goes out, you unplug it and remove the egg tray to stop cooking. The egg tray and lid are dishwasher safe on the top shelf, and the rest of the cooker can be wiped down to clean. I received this a few weeks ago, have used it twice, seems like it takes longer to make them this way. It's a different way to make and eat eggs. This was a nice egg cooker to use. When i followed the instructions i ended up with fluffy bite size egg portions that were tasty! Medium to large eggs work best, extra large cause an overflow or for the egg to be partially cooked inside. My family had a fun time trying out different ingredients and making bite size omelettes! Since getting this, I have not gone back to making my usual scrambled eggs. This egg bites maker is so easy to use and I love it because it doesn’t take forever to cook! I just put my ingredients in my blender and pour them in to the MAX line. My son loves when we make green eggs with the spinach. It’s very easy and quick to clean which I need with 2 little ones. The eggs are done when the green light goes off & the water runs out at the bottom. I do wish there was more of an alarm or “ding” on it to let you know when the eggs were done because I could be doing something else during the 7-8 minutes it’s cooking. Very convenient and compact, which is good for small counter space. Also no guessing on how much water you need because it comes with a small measuring cup. I am worried about how it will stand against the test of time because the water reservoir is already starting to show signs of wear. Will be using it forever!! My family and I absolutely love this! We eat a lot of eggs and this is a perfect and a fun new way to make them up. We enjoy creating our own flavors and the serving size of 2 egg bites is just perfect per person. The unit is small and easy to store, super easy to clean, nice design, simple to use (very detailed instructions) and makes perfect egg bites quickly. We seem to average from cracking the egg to dishing the egg bites up to take about 12 minutes start to finish. I also like the red and green lights on the front to let you know when they are done. We have not made poached eggs, but we have made multiple egg bites with various additions; cheese, sausage, onion, salt, pepper, bacon and all have worked out well. The Hamilton Beach Egg Bites Maker is one amazing product. You can now make great, high protein egg bites for home or work that taste much better than those you can get at coffee shops. The device is very well designed and easy to use. I followed the instructions for the egg bite mixture, adding my own spices. In 10 minutes I had two very fluffy and tasty egg bites! What joy. The egg bites do have a tendency to collapse a bit as they cool, similar to a souffle. But they still taste great. I also put the egg bite maker through several other tests. I used the "egg white only" mixture you can buy. I mixed in chopped ham, chopped green onion, and spices. I filled the egg bite cups to the max line, and in 10 minutes I had two incredibly fluffy and tasty breakfast bites. This maker produces egg bites just as tasty as coffee shop bites, if not more so. I made a few extra, and they reheated nicely the next day. Now I have take away breakfast meals I can reheat at work. Very portable. Clean up was quick and easy. Nothing seems to stick to the surfaces of the egg bite maker. A couple things to note. Use distilled water if you want to avoid hard water build up in the reservoir. The electric cord is a bit short, so you might need an extension cord if you have an oddly shaped kitchen like mine. And be careful where you place the egg bite maker, as it does produce a healthy amount of steam. I tried making the poached eggs, but ended up with hard cooked eggs. Use this feature with caution. Overall, the egg bite maker is one fun kitchen tool, and turns out a tasty and wonderful product. I will be saving a lot of extra money now that I can make my own egg bites.
