The basket is big and sturdy which is perfect for cooking larger portions and it is also super easy to clean. The touchscreen is simple to use and the presets make cooking quick and easy. It looks sleek and fits nicely on my kitchen counter. So far I’ve made fries and roasted veggies and both came out crispy and delicious without using any oil. I really like that it cooks fast and evenly. Overall, it is a great pick for everyday meals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Dash Tasti-Crisp 8 Qt Air Fryer for about a month now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. The 8-quart capacity is perfect for my family of four — I can easily cook a whole bag of fries without needing to do multiple rounds. The design is sleek and compact for its size, and it fits nicely on my counter without taking up too much space. Cooking is straightforward: just set the time and temperature, and the air fryer does the rest. Food comes out crispy on the outside and tender inside, without needing much (or any) oil. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air fryer rocks! I can make my son a hash brown from frozen in 13 minutes. The buttons are easy to navigate and understand and the display is clear. It looks like it'll hold a lot too, but we're just a 2 person household so I haven't filled it to capacity yet. So far I've done popcorn shrimp, fries, hot pockets, hash browns, toaster strudel, and reheated a few things. The interior is very easy to clean too. Usually I just wipe it down. The only thing I don't like is the "shake" alarm. It's kinda loud and I'm usually using it early in the morning before work. It's loud enough to be heard in another room. Halfway through cooking it beeps to alert you that you may need to shake things around to cook evenly. I could do without that function.

It’s way bigger than my old Gourmia. I love all the different options on what you can cook in the Dash air fryer and when I first turned it on, it was pretty quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love air fryers and how intuitive to use and easy to clean makes this close to 5 stars for me. Overall I like the air fryer and it will probably find a place on my counter, but I don’t know if I would buy it over some of the other air fryers out there. The good. Easy to plug in and use. The basket is huge and it cleans up easily. The grippers inside keep the crisping gray from scratching inside as well. The color is nice and the screen is large and bright. It’s easy and quick to crisp up my foods! I also like that it won’t start unless the basket is in, continues your cook if you remove it midway, and even having the shake reminder is great! The less good. This air fryer is louder than I expected. It is louder than my old air fryer and I can hear it running all throughout my house. The outlet vent is in the back so I can’t keep it too close to the wall since the hot air would damage the wall and even the cabinets. I am also not able to remove the handle after installing it, so when I move it may be a bit more difficult than I want.

It has a large capacity probably twice as big as what i normally use. You can cook almost anything in it and it even has a whole list of options like chicken, fish, muffins, fries, or bacon which I use it for the most. It’s super easy to clean the bottom part comes out easily but it would have to cool down first. The only downside I see is how short the plug in cord 🔌 is it doesn’t reach very far it just barely reaches my counter.

I really like the modern look of it in my kitchen. It fits my style perfectly. It was quiet, and I like the easy button preset functionality of what I'm cooking. I tossed my Brussels sprouts in some oil and seasoning, pressed the broccoli/vegetable button, and then shook the container when it said to shake it. They came out perfectly. They were crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. Clean-up was a breeze. I'll definitely be using this for loads of things. I can't wait to experiment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part, I’ve really enjoyed using this air fryer. The large capacity is perfect for any meal- large or small. The drawer is approximately 9.75”x9.75” and is approximately 5” deep. It will literally roast an entire chicken. The value is fantastic for the function and capacity. It has a variety of presets for items like fries, pizza, chicken, etc. Those presets can all be tweaked with different times and temps or you can manually set your time and temp. And cleanup? Genuinely a breeze if you just line the drawer in parchment paper prior to placing your food in the machine. It seems to heat up fast and, while it does produce some noise, it was no louder than my microwave. There was definitely a strong plastic smell when we removed it from the box but that went away after a day or two. The appearance is very nice. Nice clean, functional, and aesthetic design. Very easy to use. I have arthritis in my hands and it was easy to open and close the lightweight drawer. The machine is controlled entirely via an easy to use and intuitive touch screen on the front of the machine. I love that it reminds you to “shake” midway through the cooking time. You’ll definitely want to use it on a heat resistant surface with good airflow around it. There are a few downsides though. The cream color doesn’t really mesh well with current appliance colors. It reminds me more of appliance colors from the 80s & 90s. It also has a fairly large footprint and covered most of my stove. I felt like the cord needed to be longer but I have that complaint about most contemporary appliances. To truly roast something, you need to be able to get a temp of 450F. The max temp of this unit is 400F. It doesn’t have a preheat option either, nor does it let you know what the actual temp is or when it reaches the set temp. I think the inability to know both of those values contributed to the longer than normal cook times, even on basic things like fries and chicken tenders. A bag of fries said the cook time would be 18 minutes at 370 in an air fryer. It actually took 50 minutes. My standard convection oven can do that in under 30. I think the inability to preheat and monitor the fryer temp contributed to this. There is probably some time that can be shaved off that with trial and error but that’s still a pretty big gap and wouldn’t have me reaching for the air fryer over my oven. So, if you are looking for an affordable high capacity entry level air fryer, this is a great option as long as you take into consideration that you are going to need to play around with the settings and cook times to figure out exactly how your machine will cook your food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had gotten myself a smaller version of the Tasti Crisp several months ago. It works very well, but the only issue for me was it was just too small to cook certain food items. Fast-forward to now where I have the 8 quart version and I can fit everything I need to including a whole chicken! The basket is a generous size, and unlike my smaller version, this model has several presets where I don’t have to guess how much time to cook or at what temperature. Adjustments can be made to the presets of course, but it is really nice to have them set up so I don’t need to refer to a recipe book. You can make entire meals in one basket or you can simply make some crispy fries or for a healthier option, brussels sprouts. You can even cook crispy bacon and so much more. While I still love my mini version, I know I will be getting much more use out of the 8 quart Tasti Crisp by Dash. And the best news? It’s able to be cleaned in the dishwasher (just the basket and crisping tray). Awesome!
