A: Anytime you put cold water into glassware that has been heated, it will explode. You want to wait until your glassware has cooled to room temperature.

I had a set of bowls that were the same sizes but lidless for years. I replaced them with these and 2 of them are chipped within a year. Also, the lids have a very poor fit/are warped even though I’ve never put them in the dish washer.

These are great glass bowls, but the lids do not stay on. I bypassed this issue in the beginning, but they truly do not stay on the bowls anymore after 5 months of use. Target used to sell another brand of these bowls in the past, and I loved them. I guess Figmint replaced them as I cannot find them anywhere, but Target needs to bring them back. I can't keep stuff fresh anymore due to the lids.
