Q: Are they oven safe? Not asking about microwave.
A: High borosilicate glass is what Pyrex was made of, so, yes, it wouldbe safe for oven temps up to 425°.

Q: What kind of glass is this made of? If it breaks, will the glass shatter / splinter, or break in few big pieces? How easily breakable is this glass? Thank you!
A: they are very heavy and appear good quality but they do break and when mine broke it shattered.. the bowl was hot after removing cooked food from it and exploded as soon as it was under cold water.
submitted bynina - 2 years agoA: Anytime you put cold water into glassware that has been heated, it will explode. You want to wait until your glassware has cooled to room temperature.
