Q: Can I use an oven degreaser to get grease and oil off the inside of the airfreight near the heating coil. If not, what do you suggest I use? Soap, water and elbow grease is not cutting it so far.

  • A: You'll never get all the grease off the basket or the grid. Teflon really doesn't repel grease. It gets impissibly baked on. Mine has completely rusted out & basket is unusable after 3 years.

  • A: I've had a few gourima air fryers.. never rusted. If you wash and dry it properly. I put it in and run it for a minute or 2 to completely dry it. I also use liners. I dont care what brand you have if you dont care for it properly it wont last. The racks get hard to clean if you dont use liner. I've had both gourima and ninja AF

    Not a long term appliance, but good

    We had for about 3.5 years, it was good until the heating coil snapped. Roughly $50 for the part so we are throwing away and replacing with a different brand. I did get it on a promo thats half of what the cost is now so ultimately $60 or so for 3.5 years is not bad but I hoped to have gotten a bit longer out of it. We did use every day, multiple times a day so were looking for something that can handle that kind of use better!

    It's Lovely, But Arrived Broken

    This fryer was dead on arrival. I opened the box and it immediately looked like the air fryer had been returned. There were deep scratches on one side and fingerprints all over it. The weirdest part was that someone covered the touchscreen in Saran Wrap to make it look like it was still covered in protective plastic. I paid full price for it, but I wanted to use it the day it arrived so I figured as long as it worked, I’d shrug off the damage. The touch screen didn’t work at all. I tapped fruitlessly at the touch power button and it never activated. If I opened the drawer, the screen would flash briefly and give me hope, but alas. Read the manual, plugged it in different outlets, nada. Returning for a completely different model, hopefully not a touchscreen.

    Touch screen fail

    If I could give 0 stars, I would. The touchscreen doesn't work worth a crap! I bought it maybe 4 weeks ago and it's already going in the trash. Heats nicely IF you can get it to come on, but my goodness, I'll never buy touch screen again.

    Horrible Company

    Had for a little more than a year. Washed with sponge and soap. I do not own a dishwater so it was never placed in a dishwasher. Inside is flaking. Contacted target - they won’t allow a returned. Contacted the company and I have received a copy and paste message stating - that I just need to buy a new airfryer from them. Horrible customer service

    Poor materials, rusts easily.

    Heats and cooks, but poor built. After 14 months, the pan is rusted around the edges, on the bottom on the inside.. It can't take the dishwasher, apparently.. Would not buy again. Their customer service rep's reply was "You can buy another pan for $35."

    Falls apart in less than a year

    I loved this air fryer, until a screw from the handle / face of the basket fell off because the plastic had melted. I replaced the screw but the hole was stripped. Within the week the entire handle / basket face fell off the actual basket so the air fryer was unusable. I purchased the same model again hoping it was just a one time fluke. Within 4 months of the new one arriving the same thing happened. Very frustrating.

    Think twice

    The basket rusted within two months so I got it replaced in six months later the next one rested out too and basically the manufacturer just told me sorry we already replaced it once that’s all we’ll do it. I will never buy from this company again.
