Q: What chemical does this blender contain that led to stating the p65 warning? Is the chemical enclosed in cords or is it on the outside?

A: We're required by law in the State of California to include the Prop 65 Warning. We include the warning in abundance of caution and to comply with this California warning mandate. The pitcher came broken had a huge hairline crack from the top corner handle to the middle of the base. I went back and exchanged it for the same one and the 2nd one had a hairline crack on the top handle corner too but wasn’t fully down as the 1st. Not sure if it was caused by transport and handling or it was just a bad batch that was missed by quality control when shipped to my store but after the 2nd one I decided to just not get another one. Was very disappointed on this product.. I was really looking forward to it after reviewing everyone’s positive reviews.

Pay a little more for something else
Honestly, I can’t say this blender is even just okay. It kinda sucks. Way too expensive for the results. I got this when it was on sale so I opted for it bc of the reviews and price but let me say, look elsewhere. If you’re able to invest a little more for an actual good one, I know harder said than done, I definitely would. You can see the little chunks in the pic. I mean it gets the job done.

So smooth and creamy. Base has suction cups and stays put. Holds up to 7 cups so it will be more than enough room. Easy to clean. Simple instructions. Lid locks in place with the handle and will not lower until it is on top of the pitcher. Careful with the blades. Grab the spindle from the top as instructed to prevent injury. Very sharp. Best kitchen investment I’ve made. My first Ninja!
