A: I have found that is not the case, with other Ninja blenders. I have interchaged the cups/jars. I do not know if that is true with this unit, but I have a similar unit with cups that I bought directly from Ninja. That base fits with other (older) cups.

A: The pitcher can be placed on the motor base two ways; the handle can be on the front right corner or the front left corner. Place the pitcher onto the motor base, and then you can rotate the pitcher clockwise until it clicks in place. As the pitcher rotates, it will lower, and the safety tabs on the bottom of the pitcher will slide under the safety tabs on the top of the motor base.

A: If the power button of the blender is blinking, this indicates your pitcher is not installed properly. Place the stacked blade assembly into the pitcher and lock the lid into place. Then make sure the container is correctly assembled on the motor base. Turn the pitcher clockwise to lock onto the motor base. You should hear an audible click when the container locks into place. Press the power button. The unit should now be on, and the power button should be illuminated. If it is still not working, please give our team a call at 1-800-365-0135 so we can help with this.

It’s good for special occasions. It’ll start leaking if used frequently. I’ve replaced parts and still leaks. Don’t waste your earning on this.

Way too sharp
The blades are way too sharp. I can't clean it without hurting myself. I have only had it a couple days and it has sliced my finger and my wrist. The second time it was stuck in the dishwasher because of the blades so I had to pull it out and it sliced my wrist. If I had to the box I would be returning this. I've never had a blender so this

Leaks
We used to love this blender but now can’t seem to get one that doesn’t leak. We had our old one for years and it recently broke so we bought another and it began leaking like crazy within only a week of use. We thought it was a fluke so we returned it and bought another only to have the same problem. I’m not sure how Ninja changed their pitcher from the one we used to have but it’s much worse. So only buy if you want milk leaking in your kitchen after only using it a couple of times.

NINJA- WHAT HAPPENED TO QUALITY
I have been using Ninja blenders for past 20 years. Quality has always been good UNTIL a few years ago. Now they break within a few months. This last one the lid stopped locking after only a month and we do not put it in the dishwasher. Never again will I waste my money on your products

Broken Blender not Covered by Warranty
Do not buy anything from this company. Look up Ninja Blender Food Processor Crack and you will see thousands of others with the same issue. This blender broke in a year and they are very quick to explain how the specific part that broke is not covered in the waranty. Customer Service claims it is not an issue and tried to charge you $100s for a replacement.

Dont buy a hassle to handle
Finally used it and the lid is the worst thing to try and fit. It won’t blend without the lid properly locked on but it’s impossible to lock it on. I would not recommend they are soooo freaking expensive but the biggest hassle to work with.
