A: Buy it if you want to keep your coffee or tea warm. Better then drinking cold or room temp coffee

Definitely a little excessively priced but a really thoughtful gift for the coffee or tea lover with distracting kids not allowing them to finish their coffee quickly.

submitted byCorcomm - 4 years agoA: YES. Mine has a dark coffee stain on the bottom of the mug that won't come off. The coffee stain along the sides comes off if I put a little bleach in the water and leave it for a minute.

A: Because the Mug pairs to a device via Bluetooth connection, any Ember App user will need to be near the Mug in order to use the App's features. However, the mug always defaults to 135.

A: Ember Mug2 has an auto sleep function which intelligently wakes up when hot liquid is poured in and enters sleep mode when not in use. It is smart so it will shut off when no liquid is detected.

A: The US coaster needs to be compliant to 110-220AC. The US charger can also work abroad with the use of a compliant (within region) adapter.

A: Do not microwave the Ember Mug! The Ember Mug is an electronic device, which should never go in a microwave. Our customer's safety is our highest priority and we try our best to make it known that the Ember cannot be put in the microwave. As with all electronics and metals, it may result in a fire when heated up in the microwave. Doing so will result in permanent damage to your Ember Mug or Ember Mug².

I wouldn’t waste my money on this until they address the problems with the changing disk. We’ve got two mugs and have bought 4 disks. Three of them failed. I’m done with these mugs.

I have purchased 4 cups /tumblers total over the past few year. I have never had an issue until now. None of the devices will stay connected to my phone and my coffee won’t stay ho??? I purchased a new phone it is the iPhone 16. I have in-installed the App from my phone, I have reset the mugs/tumblers and nothing is working. The all won’t stay connected

Coaster has a recessed pin, and will not charge the mug. It’s a design flaw. See reviews under coaster 2. Purchased in April.

Whatever you do, don't buy this mug. In November of 2024 they updated the app and it no longer pairs with your mug. It is the most frustrating piece of technology I own and I can't believe I now own the world's most expensive coffee cup.

Liked this product until the new application update. now you need to login almost every time you use the mug. Just get the email and verify the link. Not sure the concern. Is someone going to hack my mug and lower the temperature. They have taken something easy and made it worthless.

I have had my mug for a few years, and I truly cannot live without it. Unfortunately, the app update has not been good. I continually have to re-pair my mug and some days it will not pair, despite being fully charged. The bugs in the app need to be ameliorated.

I received as a Christmas gift 2023 from my daughter, the mug didn’t even last a full year. Ember wouldn’t stand behind their product telling me the mug was 6 months out of warranty. Not sure how that is true. The mug is not worth the cost, don’t waste your money. Any Yeti or similar type of insulated mug is as good or better at a much cheaper price. I wouldn’t recommend the Ember cup.

I love the bug but unfortunately lasted less than two years and then would not charge anymore. Had to replace the base once and a few months later the mug no longer works. A little expensive to last less than two years. Pretty disappointed about that as it is a great product except for this.

I’ve had my 14 oz mug for over a year and I love it. I use it almost every day to enjoy my always-hot tea. I have two coasters, one at my desk and one by the couch, so I can always have a hot drink. The battery off the coaster isn’t always great but I’m not usually far from the coaster. Thinking about getting one for my partner for Christmas!

I’ve had the same issue as a few on here. One of the two charging pins on the base has lost any spring meaning no way to charge. This is the second that has had this issue! Both have died within less than a year.

My 2 year old mug will no longer charge or keep anything warm. I have tried everything from resetting the base to pushing the reset button on the bottom of the mug and nothing works. Time to scrap the very expensive mug. Also, after downloading the newest and latest app, my mug will not pair with the new mug after spending nearly an hour trying.

As expensive as this cup is - it shouldn't have a shelf life. The charging base (coaster) the prongs always collapses which causes the cup to not charge or heat up. Lasted for a few months and the coaster broke. They need to work on the battery life and the coaster because it SUCKS!
