I enjoyed this mug for several months. But less than a year later it quit holding a charge and it wouldn’t charge on the base unless it was sitting perfectly right. Not worth the price tag unfortunately.

Instructions were lacking for the set up for the product. Directions that came in box were scant, but after going on line was able to set it up. Hence the 1 star deduction. It is a tad overpriced but my Dad loved his gift.

Love My Ember
I received my Ember mug as a Christmas present and I have to say I am more than impressed. It keeps my coffee hot until I’m finished or it’s empty. I have wasted more cups of coffee because it cooled down. Not anymore!

Okay I love that this mug can keep my coffee piping hot. I hate that it can only do it for an hour before the battery dies. I charged my mug overnight and it still fizzled out. For a mug this expensive, I’d expect a longer lasting battery.

Didn't even last past 1 year. Battery was just ok from the beginning, but deteriorated within less than a year and had to get a new charger within the 1-year warranty period. New charger was even worse, barely lasted a few months. Was really great while it lasted, but after that, it's completely unusable without the charger.

It will break and you will be out!
Charging base stops working, Ember customer service is terrible and doesn’t publish all reviews. I have had 3 of these because they were gifts. The first one stopped working within the first year warranty so they replaced the base. The second one also stopped working within a year but again was replaced. The third stopped working again within a year BUT when I reached out to Embers customer service it took them 4 weeks to answer me and required me to send 6 emails before they answered. I emailed them before the warranty was up BUT since they didn’t answer me for 4 weeks they told me I was out of warranty. Despite the record of communication they refused to replace the item and eventually stopped answering me altogether. Absolute waste of money and they know their product is not quality. I tried to write a review on their website and they wouldn’t publish it. I rewrote the same review but with 4 stars and then they published it. Do not waste your money. It’s great when it works but it will die and they will not help you.

An amazing product! I really liked the fact it kept my drinks warm. The shape is inconvenient for travel but if you’re not traveling with it, it’s perfect!
