Plates Won’t Stay in Place
I bought this interchangeable plate waffle maker for my daughter and the plate at the top, when properly inserted, does not stay attached. If I open the waffle maker after cooking a waffle, the plate will release from the waffle maker.

The first time I bought this it was broken and smelled like it was burning and was making sparking sounds. I returned it and got a new one. I plugged it in started making sparking sounds and smelling like burning plastic. Do not get!

Love the idea!
My grandchildren love all of the different characters that we can make. Just not happy with the way the plates don’t stay in place on the bottom. The pop right up while cooking and constantly need to be adjusted so they stay down
