A: We are happy to provide some clarity around the temperature settings! Rest assured, every Ember Mug 2 is preset to 135°F for you to enjoy right out of the box -- no frills and no app necessary. In order to change the default temperature to your preferred temperature, you will need to pair with the app. That said, once the temperature is set, your Ember Mug will remember your new perfect temperature and there is no need to take out your phone or use the app when you want to enjoy your hot coffee.

This was my 4th Ember mug! I need 2 Embers in working order at all times. I can't imagine my hot drink routine without them. There is nothing worse than a hot drink that has gone cold. My Ember mugs ensure that is never a problem for me! Love these!

First Class Mug
I previously owned a Visitoo heated mug which failed after 8-months of use. Despite having a 12-month warranty, the company refused to replace it unless I shipped it back to China for evaluation. Instead I decided to toss it in the trash and replace with an Ember Mug 2. What a difference! The quality and functionality of this device are First Class and allow me to enjoy my heated coffee long after it has been brewed. Excellent Product; you won’t be disappointed!

My husband is British, and his tea always gets cold. I watch him reheat the tea, and it’s a daily issue with the kettle. This ember mug solves the problem. Today is the first day trying it to reheat the tea as he works. He’s in heaven, problem has been eliminated. … Big plus that there is no plastic as he would never go for a plastic mug. My only regret is maybe not buying the bigger mug. The 10oz is fine, and he’s super happy. He says no regrets. Lastly, the app is hilarious and asks for name for the mug… :laughing: We love Penny. She’s “a hottie. ”

This is my second Ember
This is my second Ember Mug. I loved my first one so much that I bought another! It keeps my tea or coffee warm all morning long, which has honestly changed how I drink my hot beverages. If I forget to charge it, I’m genuinely disappointed! I’ve actually held off making my coffee until the mug has charged a bit, just so I don’t miss out on that perfectly warm sip to the very last drop.
