I wish I could give 0 stars. These are not microwave safe AT ALL. Please do not buy this product.

I was initially impressed they did not leak and were the perfect size for meal prep and using for lunches. But…took it out of the work fridge one day, put it in the microwave for 45 seconds and it broke right down the middle within 30 seconds. I did reach out to ello & they told me they have heard of these breaking with temperature changes…so it isn’t safe to take out of the fridge & put in the microwave

After the second use, the top snapped at the side with barely any pressure. Also expensive for the quality of the lids.

It is great quality. And works so well. Would highly recommend.

Please be careful with these. I stored them stacked in each other and some manage to chip. Thought nothing too much of it at first and considered hey it happens. Until one day I heated up my food and ended almost swallowing a piece of glass from the ridge. The container wasn’t broken before I put it in the microwave. I would be very careful I got so scared I threw away the container

They seemed nice at first, but then then the seals on the lids came off and I wasn't able to fit them back in. So now they are not useable.

Had these for months, absolutely adored them. And randomly after a minute a bowl snaps in half 😭💔 I would still recommend, but be careful

These kinds of sets, this brand especially, leans more expensive. But I do think they’re really well made and seem worth it! Used about a month now. The lids wash well in the dishwasher and still snap well. Leak proof. I love the colors (that’s what sold me initially). Great versatile size! I use these for lunches, or fill to the brim with a batch of leftovers.

I followed the care instructions yet all of the glass containers cracked and broke within 4 months of purchase.

At first glance these seemed great. Upon trying to use these for the first time, I noticed one of the lids was already broken. I meal prepped using the remaining 4 containers. They were all washed by hand. Week 2 while meal prepping, I noticed a second lid has already broken. For the price and the brand name I really expected these to last. Ello does not sell replacement lids for this style of container.

I bought these to meal prep and to make lunch easier during the week. I've had three break: two shatter in the microwave and one crack in half while in the oven. Be advised these are not microwave or oven safe as described.

These have been great for us. Nice size, sturdy lids. Been using them for a few weeks with no problems. They kinda stack together too but might get a little stuck. They're really good quality though.

I really enjoy using these for work.

I got the glass bowls so that I could pop it right in my breville smart oven. Amazing! My food was heated evenly. The bowls are the perfect size and the colors are a fun touch.

Love the way this product is made. Size and the lids fit well.

I love the size - just right for single meal preps. The colorful lids are fun…I’m all about color! But the biggest attraction is the diversity - storage, fridge, freezer, microwave and oven! It lets me prepare a great variety of foods without need for multiple individual uses.

Pros: good size of container and the lids are satisfying to close and are seal tight. Cons: I’ve already broken one and chipped another just handwashing them. Got sliced in the process. :(

I just received these; was so happy to find a meal prep set with 5 same-size containers. These are a nice size (slightly more than 3 cups liquid volume), and the lids seem to fit well. Unfortunately, I broke one of the glass containers while hand washing when it dropped in the sink. I realize this was my error; however, I have had some pyrex containers that have lasted for years, and these are not as durable. I see that Ello also makes a different meal prep set that has the addition of a silicone bumper on the bottom of the glass container. That silicone bumper would probably help keep it from slipping out of my hands, and also cushion the glass if dropped. So I guess the non-durable glass is a known issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These locking storage containers are absolutely wonderful. They are tightly closed and things you put I. It stays fresh longer. They aren't as easy to carry in more than one at a time They are eco friendly because you can reuse them over and over and they still stay the same. Much better than the same locking kind in plastic.
