A: Thank you for your question. Please ensure the seals are properly inserted in the channel. The easiest way would be to press firmly down on the lid when it is fitted to the base, compressing the gasket, and then apply the latches. -Customer Care

I really love the asthetics and feel of these glass storage containers. Overall, they are really great. The only thing that really bothers me is after a few spins in the dishwasher (on the top rack of course), the lids become harder and harder to snap on. This is especially true for the smaller sized containers.

Reusable food storage containers all do the same things in similar ways- A glass or plastic vessel, a plastic lid that has a rubber gasket and wings that snap securely to the vessel. The differentiator is how they’re constructed. Quality, or lack thereof, determines the everyday utility. These new glass containers from Figment are built better and a joy to use. The glass is thick, sized right, with perfectly rounded interior corners for easy cleaning. Best of all, the lids!! Thick plastic, burly rubber gaskets, the lids feel like they will last a long time. Hugely important. I’m impressed that these are made in South Korea. Kudos to Target for sourcing great products from beyond the usual places.

These are the best food storage containers I have. The tight fitting lids prevent leaks. The gaskets are removable so that the lid can be throughly cleaned. I have used the largest one to bake a small casserole in my toaster over. Leftovers easily went in the fridge without dirtying another dish. The sizes and shapes of these are perfect for my leftovers and small sides. Love them!

We’ve had multiple glass containers for years but since the lids break over time, we recently picked up some new ones. I just had one of these break into pieces and make a huge mess while I was microwaving some rice for dinner, I’m so disappointed. Definitely will not be buying any more of this brand.
