Q: What's the difference between sponge daddy and scrub momma

A: Sponge Daddy is made of ¾ ResoFoam® which is super absorbent, generates tons of suds, and is odor resistant, and ¼ FlexTexture® that changes texture based on water temperature (firm in cold, soft in warm). It’s great for dishes, delicate stem/dishware, cleaning up spills, wiping down cabinets and countertops and comes in 2, 3, and 4 count. Scrub Mommy is also a dual sided scrubber. Half is made of our exclusive FlexTexture® and ½ is made of ResoFoam®. The eyes of its fully functional face allow you to reach the sides and bottom of cups and containers at the same time while the mouth cleans both sides of utensils at the same time.

I just switched over to this sponge from regular sponges for the first time and never going back! This dries really well and doesn't feel like it needs to replaced as quickly as regular ones. It doesn't seem to get as smelly after multiple washes.

While you can buy a lot more sponges that are less expensive, the Scrub Mommy is worth its price. This version is better than the Scrub Daddy, since it has the sponge side to clean dishes, while leaving the scrubber side to deal with more tough cleanings such as when oatmeal or cereal dries up on the bowl. It's true that the sponge doesn't stink and that it maximizes the amount of soup that can be used from smaller amounts of soap. However, it probably does not last as long as you'd think for the price. I usually have to replace mine every 1-2 months of active use. But if you buy multiple at the same time, then this problem is not noticeable. Still, it is far better than other sponges.

I want to love this. It’s a cute design, and I made thorough use of the mouth cutout to clean silverware. But this company needs to be called out on all the microplastics they’re putting into our waterways. The recycled plastic advantage is worthless if you’re just going to dump it into our water systems for someone else to clean up. It’s inconsiderate, wasteful, and environmentally harmful.
