Q: If this goes soft in warm water how do you use it to clean anything that requires scrubbing instead of just rinsing? Cold water should NEVER be used to clean, yet that's what this needs to function???

A: Our scrubbers work well with water alone. If you feel a little detergent is needed, baking soda, vinegar, or a mild dish soap is recommended. Harsh chemicals should be avoided to obtain maximum longevity.

A: Who says cold water "should NEVER be used to clean"? Is this a law? LOL You can use it cold to scrub away residue on anything, and then go in with hot soapy water if you need to.

This sponge lasts so much longer than the regular ones. It also remove the dirt faster. I have no complaints about it except its shape is a little bit hard for my small hands hold it while wearing cloves. I will try the rectangular ones of this brand to see if it's better.
