Thank you for sharing your comment, RMD3. Breakdown is definitely a normal symptom of Scrub Mommy's aging FlexTexture® foam, and we suggest discontinuing use once noticeable shedding begins. Unlike undetectable microbeads, particles that may inadvertently go down the drain are filtered by treatment plants prior to reaching our waterways.
